gate closes easy
Same as I had on gate for 45yrs. Flip ears not as bent as old ones,but easy fix with pipe wrench bending up to same as old.

You get what you pay for
You get what you pay for, and this latch is good enough But be warned: instead of a two-piece bracket, this latch uses a bent carriage bolt to hold it to the gate. The butterflies are held by a thin pin that is hammered at the ends, and the corrosion protection on one wing is pretty spotty. I can't see this lasting more than three years.There is no way to adjust the distance to the gatepost, so to make it work properly I had to adjust the hinges and that took more than an hour
