Stanley Proto J2116 Proto 16" Aligning Pry Bar

not much to say, but it aligns with what I needed

Sturdy, light. Functionality of a prybar and manhole spike with the size/weight of a large screwdriver. Excellent for use in exterior electrical applications, such as manipulating stubborn pad-mounted equipment doors, helping unseal manhole covers, and a host of other small tasks that'd otherwise utilize half a dozen other tools. It's less helpful for the really large manhole covers (200+ lbs), when I need to bust out a larger dedicated tool for the purpose, but if I want to get by in a day of field surveys with as little gear weighing me down as possible it's a must.

SO versatile that you'll use it for everything. Lost one in leaves and bought another. Pry bar and alignment. We call them magic sticks. You can by a set of alignment tools and pry bars or just this. I simply rap a towel around it if I need a cushioned handle. Good for suspensions. Really versatile tool. Any young kid getting into mechanics or cruising junk yards needs this.

This bar has a nice feel to it. I haven’t actually used it yet but wish I’d had it for several recent projects. Would have helped installing my driveshaft, radiator, thermostat housing, sway bar end links and brake calipers. Will keep it close by for upcoming planned repairs.

I always have use for a pinch bar and this suits them perfectly.

Perfect for what I bought them for has not disappointed

I like this brand and style of pry bar to use in various situations as a mechanic, great for when you need a strong tool to line up bolt holes and or generally use as a pry bar. Seems to be just about the right size/shape/length to help and offer mechanical advantage etc. Good quality product. Similar tool to my other reviews on same thing but the pry bars are different in length. I would offer that you need a couple of these in the various sizes to round out your tool box.
