Q: Will these work on outdoor romex?

It will work fine if it's 12 / 2 wg. That's all I use so I don't know about anything else.

Q: Are the "wide knurled jaws" cross hatched?

They're just ridged, since knurled would kind of imply cross-hatched.

Q: Anyone aware of one of these for 16/2?

I have the same question - need to use it for Rocketfish 16/2 speaker wire - non electrical use but stripping a lot of wires for multiple projects

Q: Can these strippers be used to strip UF-B cable ?

Yes, as long as it’s the same gage. 14/2 or 12/2. The UF-B cable is just a thicker stronger sheeting.
