WeatherDeck Waterproof Panels

The Blue Sea Systems WeatherDeck panel feels extremely well built, and it was straightforward to wire into my existing boat lighting system. The included template made installation simple and accurate. The switches themselves are easy to operate, even with gloves on, which is a big plus when I’m out on the water. I also really like the backlighting feature—it makes the panel easy to read without being too bright at night. Overall, it’s a high-quality, dependable addition to my setup. . Exactly what I ordered, arrived on time, and the price was right. Top quality product from a top quality brand. Installation was a breeze w/ included template.

Prewired. Makes it very easy to install. Just need to wire power to the input spade terminals and then each switch is powered. Just need a wire to the accessory. I guess if I were running higher powered accessories I would have preferred lug type input terminals. Since there are six 15A breakers you could supposedly draw 90A with this panel. The spade terminal inputs are not enough for that. I am running low power stuff on an open boat so it does not matter to me. Can't speak to durability because I have not installed the panel yet but it appears to be very well built and is gasketed. As others have said, if you mount the panel flat horizontally, it will trap water.

I find Blue Sea items are always great quality. This switch panel is durable and the switches are of good quality, and it should last for a very long time as it's also weather proof.

As with every other blue sea product this switch panel is very nice. The backlight works well without being too bright. I did four stars as the panel does not come with very many labels and you need to buy a separate label pack for more applications.

We all know that customer service is a huge differentiator in a product and this is especially true when it's a DIY product. I'm confident the quality of this product is very good - other products I have purchased from them have been - BUT it's the service that stands out! I called their help line to speak with a tech on an installation question I had and was blown away by the level and quality of their service. (LBRT) Live body response time was fast ... not the all-too-often "Your time is valuable...and someone will be with you before next Thursday" ... Their tech not only answered my question but inquired as to how I was utilizing the product, to make suggestions based on other calls he had on the same product.... Dang - how often does that happen?!?! So, fine product and exceptional service... (ps - no one paid me for this input or gave me a free product or a pony or anything - I just appreciate companies that go the extra mile to make customers happy!
