I had been wanting one of these sets for a while because, if nothing else, they look really cool. But I thought it sensible to wait until I had genuine need of it (otherwise known as “an excuse to buy it”). Thankfully (!) a family member’s laptop developed a fault with the screen so I was able to get this set and use a star-shaped head and one of the plastic picks to open up the casing and reset the connector between the screen and PC. I’ve since used this set to dismantle a dead Blu-Ray player to retrieve a disc and several games controllers to clean the insides to fix stick drift. There are so many components included that it’s been an education trying to work out what they all do. Simply put, I don’t need half of what is included here but I think that I am now well-placed to deal with emergencies in the world of consumer electronics. And I now know what a spudger is! Aside from the main event which is obviously the screwdriver handle and the bits, the set also includes a magnetic mat for keeping removed screws in order (this was invaluable for the Blu-Ray job… so many screws!). Also included are a flexible screwdriver shaft, suction cups, SIM card removing tools and various picks and removal tools. And then a magnetize/demagnetize tool which is really useful. All of these components seem good quality for the price and are held in a robust plastic case which opens on both sides to give easy access to all of the parts. The bits are held nice and tightly in the box and clearly marked with size and type both on the box and on the bit itself. The bits fit snugly into the handle which is well made and has a rubber section to aid grip. I really can’t fault this set. It is nicely presented, functional and good quality at an excellent price. I’m very pleased with my purchase.

The iFixit kit this is not, however it is close to the next best thing. With almost everything you will need for working on a phone, laptop, tablet or desktop. Small and compact, you can throw this into a bag quite easily to take with you should you need to travel with the kit. The latch is sturdy enough that it has not opened yet leaving behind a mess of parts at the bottom of my bag. Choice is the biggest strength, with Phillips head and flat head drivers to be expected, it also includes torx, triangular and even the pentalobe drivers. With a handy magnet to magnetise your pieces you significantly reduce the risk of losing screws, especially as you'd usually be dealing with relative tiny parts. The mat, though magnetised, was not of as much use, the one I received was somewhat warped in it's packaging and therefore does not sit flat on a desk. Even after laying it flat and weighing it down overnight. The spudgers are sufficiently soft plastic so you don't risk damaging your device, perhaps a little too soft for the strong adhesive used these days, but that's hardly a drawback for a kit this well equipped for such a low price. Ratchet action on the main driver feels reliable and has a satisfyingly loud clicking mechanism which is always reassuring. I did lubricate the rotary swivel cap to reduce wear and increase longevity, I'd recommend it. Overall feels like a sturdy product, if it lasts longer than a year I'd say it's earnt it's keep for the price (~£16 at time of writing). I would feel confident buying a bigger set from this brand in the future based on this experience.

Fantastic piece of kit, every type / size of screwdriver you could possibly want. Perhaps an overkill but since you don't know what type / size you need until you try one that is acceptable for the price paid. Future needs covered before known?

Great for PC builders and tinkerers. Its a must have for your tool kits. Nice amount of bits at a reasonable size plus you get some nice other accessories.

Great value for money, I bought for phone repairs and it has worked very well. It is very portable and has good durability aisde from the plastic tools which I found bent very ealility. I find the magnetic card very handy for screws. The case itself is good aside from the clear plastic covers on both coming off very eaility which can be a bit of a pain.

Before buying this set, on more than one occasion I would find myself not have the right screwdriver size for a particular everyday DIY job such as changing the fuse on a plug, tightening the frame of my spectacles, replacing batteries in kids toys etc etc This screwdriver set has been a saviour, it has a variety of different screwdriver sizes for flat, crosshead, star. It also includes bits for allen key sizes (again a variety of sizes). All the bits can also be magnetised using the magnetiser which is awesome! And yes, it has the necessary bits to repair an iphone such as the suction cup, plastic bit to remove the case seal, tweezers as well as the relevant size to unscrew the screws. The magnetic mat is also very handy in keeping your loose screws safe from being misplaced (and the hassle of trying to trying to find a tiny screw that's fallen onto the floor!) I have 2 of these sets, and I have also recommended these to friends and family becuase you just can't go wrong with this! Very, very pleased with this set!

Es un juego de destornilladores de precision. Os dejo los puntos mas importantes que creo que os van a servir si pensais en comprarlo: -Estan pensados para arreglar dispositivos tipo moviles, ordenadores portatiles, consolas, .. aunque en mi caso personal, yo los compre para arreglar unos relojes y, sobre todo, para dos pares de gafas que tengo, que no paran de soltarse los tornillos. -Aunque en la descripcion dice que son 98 piezas las que trae; de esas, las puntas son 80. La verdad es que es completito el juego de juntas. Aunque no tengo moviles de esa marca, trae las puntas necesarias para los Iphone 4, 5, 6, y 7 (y sus versiones S) y tambien para Iphone 8/X. Asi que si lo buscas para estos modelos te vas a hacer el papel. -Y luego tambien trae puntas especificas para los Android (algunas de ellas coinciden con algunos tornillos del Iphone). el fabricante especifica cuales son las puntas que necesitas para cada uno. -Os detallo los accesorios, que con la explicacion que con la explicacion que ponen aqui no se entiende nada. En total aparte de las puntas, el pack trae mas accesorios: El mango principal,una expansion flexible, una barra extensora, una pinza, unas palancas de plastico, pinchos para las tarjetas SIM, ventosas, unas puas como las de las guitarras, un magnetizador, unos adaptadores para cabezal de 4mm, y una almohadila con iman donde puedes ir pegando los tornillos que sacas para que no se pierdan. -La verdad es que es bastante apañado el pack, y promete mucho a la hora de poder reparar tambien mis moviles. Y decir que me ha sorprendido que los accesorios, aun siendo de plastico, se ven de muy buena calidad. -Ademas, no es como otro juego de destornilladores que las puntas tienden a salirse, y finalmente se mezclan todas y no sabes ni que puntas es. en este caso, las puntas van dentro de su propio espacio en la caja. Y entran bien profundo. La tapa evita que se muevan y se desordenen. Por ese aspecto muy contento. -Por poner una pega, yo que me fijo tanto en la parte estetica de lo que compro, he de decir que no me parece que se lo hayan currado mucho. En general el pack es bastante feito. aunque al final lo importante practico, y ahi si que merece la pena.
