Fits the Intreped II
Perfect fit in our Vermont Castings Intreped II wood stove...after making grooves for the fins that it has to fit behind. I just wish it wasn't so expensive!

Looks more solid than original
Fits well, haven’t installed yet - need new combustor and secondary probe as well, not thrilled with Vermont castings as a brand but this part seems that it will work fine.

Required modification for my model
I have the Intrepid II model 1990. I had to file a couple grooves into the front surface to get it to fit. There are 2 cast iron fins on the stove that prevented it from fitting. They required a half inch deep groove.

Very slow, hard to use and not user-friendly at all. Today New Year’s Day I’m throwing it in the trash.
