Lines me up perfect every time
This is a simple tool that allows you to very easily line up your ball to your target when putting. If you read the directions you will putt better. I noticed some reviewers have an issue with this thing, but I bet they used it without reading correctly how they should be using it. It's not rocket science, but the instructions are specific and I found it works exactly as described. I do find I'm making more long putts with it and I'm much better with short putts too. One part of the instructions stand out to me. They tell you to "trust" it when you are standing over the ball. After lining it up I've gotten over a ball only to look down and say to myself "that can't be right". When I tell myself to trust the line I've chosen from behind the ball, I make many more. Whenever I doubt the line I've chose and try to make an adjustment while over the ball, I pretty much miss. Moral of the story, it's easier to read a putt from behind the ball than when you are standing over it, so trust the line you've chosen and hit your putt with confidence. It's a great product and I use it every round.

Good aid to help line up putts
I do like using tool to help me line up puts. It provides a little extra help and it is extra helpful with the alignment line I have on my golf balls.

give it a try may help
I have been practicing with this tool for awhile and have actually taken it out to the course 3 times in Wisconsin February which is unheard of! While I think it may be an effective tool for many people I ultimately just became confused by the "vectoring" of aligning break with the marking of the ball. I prefer looking at no markings on ball so those who like to utilize lines this may help. Don't think it will help me but I will continue practicing with it. i think I may prefer a more simple device like a single arrow on a poker chip to this multi-line / angle aid.

Takes the guesswork out of 2/3 of putting
Saw something like this on YouTube and this was the best/cheapest version on Amazon. The three big parts of putting...direction, alignment, and speed. Put this behind your ball, read the putt from about 4 feet behind the marker, use your putter shaft to determine the right line on the marker, line up the line on the ball up with that line, line your putter/feet up with the line on the ball. Trust it, and hit the putt. You just conquered 2/3 of the putting process...work on speed drills and improving green reading and this makes putting so much easier. Will it putt for you? Nope. Is it a miracle cure? Nope. Will is improve the speed of your putts? Nope. Is it 100 times better than guessing if you have the right read over the ball (you probably don't)...absolutely! With the right speed, will you make more putts and burn more edges? Yes!Also...as someone who has always considered himself a terrible (literally) green-reader, this has improved my green reading in 2 rounds. Read it, line it up, trust it...then learn from it. Golf just got easier...best 8 bucks you can spend on golf!

Unusable! Do not buy!
I purchased to assist in the Aimpoint system. This marker is unusable because of its design. Do not waste your money.

Make more putts!
Alignment is very important when putting. Put your Vectorputt golf ball marker behind the ball with the arrows facing the hole. Once you determine how much break to play, pick an arrow on the ball marker that faces the direction that you want your putt to start. Align the line or name on your golf ball with the line you picked on the ball marker. Now you are locked in to your direction and only have to focus on your speed.Have fun making more putts!

The concept of reading break in a putt
I used this product for the first time today. While it is a simple concept, I was impressed how it made reading the break of a putt even simpler. I would recommend this product to new and veteran golfers alike.
