Just arrived and seems nice enough. Note that no starter seeds come with the kit (its not stated either, Im just making the point). We'll order some pods today.Only downside so far is that the quality of the Perspex glass is very poor. Ours arrived heavily scratched but it shouldn't affect operation, only how it looks.

Not a bad piece of kit, tanks is small.... I’d feel bad putting a fish in it! If you don’t have the fish to eat the algae, then it gets very green, very quickly due to the tank being transparent.

We bought for issuing to our charity garden to encourage people to grow a wee bit for themselves. So far no complaints.
