Nice helmet, bought for my 17 year old son so he can ride with mom on last day of school. It has an adjuster in the back to help with fit. Matte black with visor and quick release strap, good cushioning, large is a good size for a teenage boy.

Fantastic helmet. I have a big head it seems. I went to the local store and tried on 15 different helmets up to 5XL. All of which didn't fit. This ILM half helmet was a 2XL and fits perfectly. It was time to switch out my old half helmet. On the basis of the reviews I had read, the ILM looked like it was worth a try. I wear a medium helmet, ride a 2002 Road King. Took it out for a Sunday cruise around the lake and then up to 70 mph for a stretch of highway. Impressions: it’s not a slim line helmet like my previous lid. But I have to say, it looks right. Didn’t try the pull down eye shade cuz I wear cocoon-over-prescription sunglasses and there’s no point. Easy adjust chin strap (although the tag end of the strap needs to be held in place with a small elastic band to keep it from flapping in the wind). I like the metal clasp. It ratchets up easily in the receiving end, with multiple stops for a fine adjustment. Pull the red tab for a quick and effortless release. Great feature. Felt comfortable all along the way. Snug without being tight. No discernible buffeting at high speed on less than optimal highway pavement. Also, there was no wind blowing today so I can’t judge the effect that may have on performance. And because the temps I rode in were moderate, I don’t yet know if it’s going to be uncomfortably hot under there. We’ll see.Overall, a very good value. If it continues to perform as it did on this first voyage out, it will definitely be my new go to on a permanent basis. Wow very impressive, has it all...Well made....Great lining inside, drop down shade very nice & clear.Easy clip strap under chin,easy to use...Plus adjustment in back of neck area to really secure fit. I bought this as a passenger helmet-rare occasion item. I don’t consider it to be a full safety helmet for day to day use. It is approved but I just think you should buy something with more accreditations. The HJK-150 is a great helmet for 200. Surely your skull is worth 200. Get it here at Amazon and make sure it fits. Otherwise send it back for another size or model. Tragically important. Don’t Die! Cozmic Charly told ya so.
