The thread nippers are so convenient, easy to use and so sharp.

I am a bead weaver and bought this scissor because I can grab it with one hand and snip threads. It is so very beautiful in the Japanese way; simply designed and all of the design leading toward its function. It is a pleasure to look at and a pleasure to use. I am sure the quality will lead to many years of great use.

Good sharp, well made scissors, great for cutting thread. The write-up on sizes is all wrong. The 8.25 inch scissors are more like 4.7 inches long overall. Ignore the inch listings and convert from millimeters. And the blade length is only about 1.75 inches, not 4.7 inches. This is for the larger size scissors.

Nice and sharp but not very rugged. also kind of a pain in the neck to sharpen. Neat little conversation piece, though.

I I love Japanese craftsmanship. The first scissors I ever used were hasami. I use them for crafts, sewing, trimming rough edges. They are quick, sharp, easy to use.

I've had many sets or thread snips and these are the best yet. Sharp, smooth and compact. Love them.
