Most versitile resin
I have used many different resins over the last 30 years, some terrible some better and a few outstanding this is outstanding. Very simply how long a working time you want is directly related to how long you mix it. I used a wand from a hand mixer used for cake batter, in my drill on low setting seems to be perfect speed not fast enough to cause fro thing or bubbles and if you do it for 1 to 2 minutes working time is about 2 hours mix for 2 to 3 minutes working time is 45 to 60 min 3 to 4 min working time is 30 to 40 minutes 5 minutes working time is 25 minutes mix on high speed and you may not be able to get the air bubbles out before it cures. Takes glow in the dark pigment very well. Im using it to repair my 3D floor places where the previous resin has taken a beating. It has made repairs, it is tougher than the old resin more flexible. Water clear beautiful and the 50/50 mix ratio is idiot proof. When I do another floor with 3D effect and LED back lit I will use this resin. Im so impressed with all aspects I almost forgot, big bonus is the odor which it seems to have virtually no odor at all. Some resins give off terrible fumes especially when curing. The smell is only noticable when curing and its not unpleasant. I actually think it smells nice, no headache no tears. Really is the best resin ive used in 30 years.

Easy to use
Iâm a beginner at resin, never used it before but it looked interesting so I bought this stuff to try and it works really well, itâs great for the price and I will def buy it again when I run out! The only issue I had was user error with not mixing it for long enough so make sure to mix it for 3-5 mins. I will say if your thinking of buying this please PLEASE buy a respirator and never use it without it or gloves, it says non toxic but resin is inherently toxic and breathing it in over a long period of time can cause serious breathing issues, but donât be scared off by that just make sure to wear the right gear and your good to go!

For a total newbie this was surprisingly easy
This is my first time using resin. I needed to coat 4 paintings of various sizes. The instructions are very easy to understand, and the resin pours fine. It's easy to spread with a lolly stick, and there was no smell even though the window and door were closed. It started drying very quickly and now I'm just waiting 24 hours before I inspect the result. So far so good. Now for the problems: 1. The bottle was very hard to open! Once I'd unscrewed the top off, I had to tackle a plastic seal which just didnt want to come off. Took me a good 20 min to pry it off. 2. The amount of hardener is NOT the same as the amount of resin, even though it should be. I needed 15 oz for a painting, which means 7.5 oz of each product, but I got 7.5 oz of resin and only 6.8 oz of hardener. I proceeded with coating it anyway as I wasnt going to waste all that product. Hopefully it will all be fine. 3. For some strange reason, the resin wouldnt coat certain areas of the painting, even though I encouraged it over those areas with the lolly stick. Lucky for me, I had another painting to do, so after I'd poured most of the resin over the second painting, I dripped a couple of drops over the first painting's bald spots, and managed to cover them seamlessly (even though that painting had been coated a good 30 min ago). So perhaps its good to have a few projects lined up before you get started. The quantity I ordered (540 ml) doesnt go a long way at all. I only managed to coat one 11x14 painting, and one 15x15 painting. Just something to keep in mind. I will update this review once the paintings have cured fully. But so far, I'm happy with this product and would use it again and would recommend it too. PS. If you want to learn how to coat paintings in resin, watch Teagan Walker's tutorial on YouTube.

Bottle A was solid and completely unusable
I've bought this kit twice before over the years and it was excellent. Clear resin, no strong odour, did exactly what it was supposed to. Reordered it this week and Bottle A was completely solid, no problem Amazon do returns, so I reordered it, the second order was exactly the same, Bottle A completely solid. I don't know if the stock is old, but clearly they don't check before it's sent out. It's completely unusable. A real shame because it used to be good.

Ideal for first attempts at resin casting
There's loads of different types of resins available for resin casting and I'll be honest enough to say I didn't know a great deal about the different types when I started getting interested after having watched loads of tutorial videos, so this set was ideal because it was non-toxic and safe to use indoors with the very low fumes aswell as being low-cost. It really doesn't get any easier to use, I put a disposable measuring cup on my scales, weighed 40g of the resin, and then 40g of the hardener than added a spinkle of glitter, a few drops of dye and mixed away for about 2 minutes, making sure to scrape the sides and bottom. I then poured this into some silicone moulds I bought from Amazon too. I did some playing around and I found that if you mix the clear resin with some glitter and half-fill the mould, and then add a few drops of dye to the remaining mix before pouring it as a second layer to fill the rest of the mould, it creates some nice effects. I had no issues with a bad smell while waiting for it to cure and I left it 24hours just to be sure. I did find that by adding too much dye to a small mix it was enough to throw off the mixing ratio a bit so just keep this in mind, this was my own fault though so hopefully mentioning it will avoid someone else the trouble - remember that a little goes a long way!

Would definitely buy again
I've never used resin before, I made a couple of ashtrays as gifts with moulds I bought, It set with 24hrs,it is lovely and clear. I used dried flowers in it Was very easy to use, easy to mix, no odour, had at least 1 hour working time. If you've never used dried flowers in resin I would advise to do it in layers as the flowers will float other wise and may not give desired effect.,..take your time and let set solid, 5ml deep at a time in whichever mould u use. Hope you find this helpful Many thanks Highly reccomend
