Tron [UMD for PSP]

Our youngest son, 10, is a HUGE Tron fan as well loves his PSP. While we have a Blu-Ray copy of the movie for home, we thought a UMD version would be a great accompaniment for long trips. It arrived this morning and is in great shape. Packaged well and a brand new copy as indicated. I know our son will be tickled pink and is going to ask if he can have his PSP at bedtime to watch the movie for a bit. This movie is not only a classic, it is a perfect way to spend a quiet evening with the family to watch a movie and not have to worry about what is going to be said or seen by the younger kids. Even these days on broadcast t.v. you never can know what to expect as sensors seem to be loosening the grip. However I just realized that this too like the other UMD purchased at the same time was listed as new and while this showed up with a nice shrink wrap over the box, it is not new. First I have never had a UMD come shrink wrapped and secondly the stickers they put across the main & upper part where you open the case is missing but a small portion is still sticking to the box. Feel as if I have been ripped off! While I am sure the discs will play fine, when you expect one thing and pay for it but get another it is frustrating.

I been wanting this movie for some time since the new one came out. Now that I have it I have watched it 4 times since getting it. I forgot what the movie was like back in the day.I say get this movie.

Tron but in portable form!

Glad I went with the UMD instead of $50.00 DVD. My husband said I need to watch TRON before the second one came out. So since the DVD was so high we bought the UMD. Plugged the PSP into TV and watched it just like a DVD. GREAT picture. Great idea if you dont want to spend the money on the over priced DVD.

There are actually a handful of bonus features from the DVD release including deleted scenes, storyboards and introductions by director, Steven Lisberger. Here's a little known fact - Tron is the ONLY Disney movie that has been made available (in the U.S. at least) on every single video format Disney has ever used including rare formats like CED.

I just want to point out that this is the movie NOT a game. I went looking for games for my son and it was not clear when I purchased it that the item is the movie.

One of my all time movies, and on PSP. What really caught me off guard was it was BRAND SPANKING NEW!!!!!!! No blemishes, scratches, or anything of the sort. So happy!!!
