Second best addition to my pool after the solar panels that ...
Totally worth it. My pool water is crystal clear and hardly need any other chemicals. Second best addition to my pool after the solar panels that run the pump so I don't have to pay the utility company to filter my pool.

Best Ozone Generator on the market
You may ask why am I only giving them 4 stars instead of five? Because the check valves that come with the unit can not handle the Ozone. I have owned several different ozone generators on different pools over the past thirty years and they are awesome, this one is the best. Way better than the Dell Ozone units that I have had and like I said, my only complaint is with the check valves, for ozone you need teflon, most other plastics will fail in a short amount of time. I did find a reasonably priced stainless steel two piece (serviceable) valve body with teflon seal for about ten bucks, I just wish that they had included it so that I didn't have to search the internet for one. Again, great unit! Best that I've ever owned and would gladly buy another for my next pool (house).

Perfect water quality
Great product for a fair price point. Just after less than 10 days water quality improved. I now have crystal clear water without the need of extra chlorine when heavy rain approaches. Water feels softer. This unit is much greater than a specific solution from a swimming pool only company. In case a component goes bad or is used up after xx hours, you can easily order a replacement module without the heavy price tag.

Unit is unreliable, company basically doen't stand by it
just after the warranty ran out, the seals on the ozone generator failed, allowing ozone into the unit, and corroding everything. Had to replace the board, generator and rheostat. The company not willing to do anything, even though the seals were faulty and obviously not ozone resistant rubber. Ok, warranty was out by one month, so be it. Three month after replacing everything, heard a shorting sound coming from the box and smelled ozone. Sure enough, the ozone generator was shorting and had burned/melted off the air exhaust nipple. After several tries to get a hold of someone, told they would get back to me...didn't.... I was basically told of many ways it could somehow be my fault, so ship the whole unit back at my expense, and be without a working unit for a month or more, and we will see. They know that the shipping cost are probably more than the cost of buying a new generator. It is a poorly made unit, prone to failure, and the company doesn't stand behind their product.

Additional Needs
Took a lot more time to connect because we needed to purchase more to connect this. Still think we missed something because does not function the best and ended up being more work than savings.

Amazing product
Absolutely the best thing I've done for my pool since I've owned it. The generator works great ... my pool is crystal clear with pretty much no chlorine use. I highly recommend it. I actually liked it so much that I bought a second unit for my Koi Pond. It's unbelievable how great my pond looks!!

Love it as a drop-in replacement. New installs are complicated
If you're just looking for a drop-in replacement for your ozone system, this is great. I powered it on, inspected inside and out, and I'm pretty impressed with it.My only complaint is that I don't see a UL listing anywhere. There is no UL notification on the plug or on the device. I didn't even see any specs about electrical requirements, other than the manual indicates it uses 80 watts. If you're thinking about adding this to an existing pool, it's a bit complicated.I have quite a bit of experience with ozone for drinking water purification, air purification, and other things. And I love ozone pools, which typically require almost no other chemicals. They say that as a cleaning agent, ozone is 55x more effective than chlorine. And while chlorine can be caustic, ozone is actually good for your skin. You must understand that this unit is just an ozone generator. It includes none of the components to hook it up to plumbing or anything else. I suspect you may need a special ozone-resistant pool pump for this system. You need to infuse the ozone into the water, which is done with a Venturi vacuum (not included). You will need to develop an air intake system, which is usually done with an oxygen concentrator (not included). If installing in an indoor space, you need to build and design an air source to get outdoor air, or use an oxygen tank (not included). You will need inline filters to remove humidity (not included). I could go on and on. This is just one component of a larger system - unless you're just ordering this as a drop-in replacement, you will likely need an expert to help you design an ozone system then install it.Instead, I decided to go with an ionizer, which is a little cheaper than an ozone generator and has almost no ongoing maintenance. Further, the ionizer easily plugs directly into my 1.5-inch PVC pool plumbing, and I had it installed in about 15 minutes.I ended up getting a Sunshine ionizer, which is not 55x more effective than chlorine, but it does still reduce chlorine use by 90%. This unit seems well built, and definitely produced the promised amount of ozone when I tested it. But for now I need something simpler, so I'll go with ionization instead.

Workes as advertized.
Easy to get up & running. I was replacing an older unit (another make), so had basic understanding of operation & hook ups. Did have to install a 120v plug as other unit was direct wired. Appears to be doing the job as designed.
