Pure awesomeness!
Great album! Lots of very heavy, catchy, and emotive songs. Fractures and Dedicated are quite good. I like listening to this on the way to the gym. Yes, you'll want this in your collection.

I think this is my favorite album yet!
Firstly this album is less tear your ears out screaming, and more about heavy ballads of sorts... I'm a long time fan and I understand a band's sound is gonna change. Well, so do I. Luckily it's my kind of change! It has some of the best riffs and overall structure to the album. I love that I can press 'play' and walk away. Every song is good and even heart felt at times. I believe that is the soul of metal. When a song is felt inside that's the ticket.I'd like to thank the band and I hope they keep rockin on!

Great CD!
I heard "Vice Grip" on the radio, looked up Parkway Drive on Amazon & listened to more of the CD before purchasing. This isn't death metal or another band screaming nonsense. Nothing negative, just good, clean, hard rock/metal. This is an incredible band with a unique sound & style I haven't heard before. Best if listened to loudly in your vehicle on your way to work or if you're sleepy & want a boost!

IRE Rocks Hard Core
This album really rocks! Full of anthems that make you move, I can hardly sit still while playing it. Lots of guttural growling and screaming, this metal core music expresses everything I'm feeling at the moment... I'm going through a difficult part of life right now, I feel like screaming most of the time so this album does it for me! I've been playing it for a solid week now, can't stop listening! If you like metal, anthems, etc. You'll Love this one!!

Take this as you will
I'd like to preface this by saying that I really got into A Parkway Drive when Atlas was released. I can't talk about the technicality or precision since I am not a musician, but I can say I thoroughly enjoy this album. I feel thereally is an energy throughout this album that lended to the longevity of the album. I am not a FFDP and intially was concerned with some of the tracks; however, the later tracks eased the initial uneasiness I had. I feel like they have largely maintained their sound, in my opinion. I'm not a connoisseur so I can offer only what I think of the album: it is definitely a break from the monotony I was experiencing with other bands (Trivium in particular).

Experimentation paid off!
Im not really much of a PWD fan, but having coming across them a couple of years ago with Deep Blue. Having listening to them on Pandora and Spotify, the new album is definitely a departure from their previous releases and in my honest opinion, the experimentation has paid off. This is one of the few cds ill listen to all the way through, but the standout tracks for me are Crushed, Destroyer, and The Sound of Violence.

Ire is the fire!
I will admit I was not a much of a fan until Atlas, but now I'm an even bigger fan! From someone who is very picky about their metal: This album delivers. No sell out bull. The melodies, screaming, awesome solos, breakdowns, it's all there. Everything you love about metal and Parkway Drive is in this album. It's all masterfully done. Buy it! You won't regret it. I sure didn't.
