Pure Encapsulations is the only brand of multivitamin that works for me. I have some health problems that cause my body to be unable to absorb all of the necessary vitamins from food. I've tried other cheaper brands, and they never seemed to make any difference (I suppose that my body just wasn't absorbing then either), but when I first tried Pure Encapsulations, I noticed an immediate difference in my energy levels. I took the once daily multivitamin for years, and though I tried to stop several times because of how expensive they are, I discovered each time that I just didn't feel as good when I was not taking them. Therefore, when I decided that I was going to try to conceive, there was no question about which brand of prenatal I should take. I feel just as good on these as I always did on the once daily, and a week ago, at my seventeen week checkup, my OBGYN said my blood work was perfect. All that being said, I acknowledge that those who are complaining about the smell do have a valid point. These do smell, but I personally never had a problem taking them, and now that I'm out of my first trimester, I don't really notice the smell anymore. I have no doubt that it's much worse for some women experiencing morning sickness. There were many smells that bothered me a lot during that time, but even though I definitely noticed and did not like the smell of these pills, it did not bother me enough to cause any kind of gag reflex (and it felt like everything was causing a gag reflex at that time). So, the smell is definitely something to keep in mind, but I still highly recommend that you try these pills, especially if you're like me, and your body has trouble absorbing nutrients. You might be like me and find that the smell doesn't bother you all that much. Or even if you do buy it and find that you can't handle it during some parts of pregnancy, you might be able come back to it after the morning sickness has (hopefully) passed.

The company reached out to me and offered a full refund. I thought that was so kind of them, on top of that, they wanted to know more about what I didn’t like. I would definitely purchase other vitamins from them after giving birth. I do really like the clean ingredients and had originally chosen them because they have tested ingredients so I knew I wasn’t putting untested chemicals in my body.Original review:I chose this brand because I wanted one with cleaner ingredients and it does have high levels of some vitamins. The folate was actually too high for me, I had my blood levels drawn after taking it for a few months. In addition to that, some other vitamins were a little less than I desired. I did like the amount of choline that this vitamin had. Due to the excessively high levels of folate I had to half the prenatal dose which unfortunately negated any benefit from the other vitamins.My final deterrent and why I will not be purchasing again is that the smell is HORRIBLE. I don’t have a sensitive nose and even pregnant, I’m not sensitive to smells. I work in the healthcare field and have developed somewhat of an iron nose. Unfortunately, the smell that radiates from the bottle is awful and overpowering. I have to set the bottle down away from me and hold my breath when I bring the vitamin close to my mouth. I’m not even compliant with taking it every day because I dread the smell so much.

Has everything you need from FOLATE (not folic acid because folic acid is garbage and can cause tongue ties and heavily sprayed), CHOLINE and the other vitamins needed for the baby.

I really appreciate the clean and high-quality ingredients in this supplement. It includes important nutrients like folate, choline, and iron — all essential for energy and overall wellness. I’ve been taking it daily and I’m looking forward to seeing the impact in my upcoming blood work. It’s easy on my stomach, gluten-free, and non-GMO, which gives me even more confidence in making it part of my health routine.

First time trying this brand, I was a bit nervous considering this not one my Ob suggested. But after doing my own research, I found this brand to have alot of great vitamins that I needed for baby and I, even better than what the doc office suggested. I've ordered my second bottle. The price is a bit high, but I'll pay for quality products over junk. I experienced no side effects, and seems to be very gentle on the stomach. I plan to try other products soon. Thank you for your quality products that's not full of artificials, GMO, and chemicals. Highly recommend !!! And will use for any other future pregnancies. I trust the product. My OB says all my labs look great, my health is great and bp is always low. I feel like these prenatal pills are keeping me in optimal health.

I’m not pregnant but I bought these because I needed more iron in my diet. As well as making sure I got my B vitamins. When I was pregnant, I always threw up the vitamins. I was scared that this one would make me nauseated too. It didn’t!!!!! I like that I now have more energy and am happy knowing that I’m able to get all of the vitamins I need in just this pill.

My doctor recommended these saying that they were really good. They did help my blood levels even out. They just have a weird aftertaste.
