I wanted these to hold my test leads to other wires for testing is voltage is present. As shown in the photo, only one of the two "handles" is insulated. So I would not put them on a 120 volt wire. Instead I will use them if I want a quick way to make a temporary connection prior to turning the power on.

Bought to replace 2 pieces that were missing from a bracelet crafting kit. I'm not sure what I'm going to do with the rest of these. Chip clips? Decoration? I'll check back into this review if I figure it out. The 2 that have gone into the crafting business seem to be doing just fine with their new careers.

These items are indispensable in a tradesman’s tool arsenal. Be it for test leads or soldering clamps, they hold well and have a strong spring. The steel is not too thin as others have stated and holds a crimp well. Also the screws integrated into the clamps are well seated and need an experienced hand to ensure you don’t over tighten and strip the threads. Common sense isn’t so common and people like to complain. Point being that these are well worth the money and should be considered an asset in your toolbox.
