I read that the Fiskars made in Finland are of higher quality than those made elsewhere, so I shelled out the extra cash for a pair. They feel very nice and cut very will. Only a decade will tell if the extra money was worth it.

If you buy a pair of these scissors from Amazon Germany or somewhere in Europe, you’re likely going to get a pair that was made in Finland. This also means a longer shipping time. If you buy a pair from a seller in the United States or somewhere other than Europe, be prepared to get a pair made in China or Vietnam. I’ve bought three pairs of these scissors. Two were made in Finland, the other was made in China. I don’t think it’s necessary to say which is which, even if “Finland” wasn’t marked on one of the pairs. The two pairs feel, sound, look, and cut differently. The scissors made in Finland are clearly better.

Ich nähe in letzter Zeit gerne wieder und bin das ewige Versäubern leid. Ich weiß schon lange, dass man mit ZickZack Stoffscheren das Versäubern umgehen kann. Sie schneiden hartgängiger als normale Scheren, aber ersparen das Versäubern. Nachdem ich vor kurzem bei Amazon ein Messer von der Firma Fiskars erworben hatte, was für einen günstigen Preis eine unglaubliche Qualität hat, es ist sehr scharf und hat einen sehr dünnen Messerrücken, deshalb kann man damit gut arbeiten, zögerte ich nicht lange und hab mir von der Firma Fiskars die ZickZack Stoffschere bestellt. Sie wurde rasch geliefert und liegt gut in der Hand, beim Schneiden ist sie schwergängig, das muss aber sein, damit man exakte Schnitte machen kann. Ich habe jetzt schon einige Teile zugeschnitten und die Schere zeigt keine Ermüdungserscheinungen, scharf wie bei Lieferung und exakte Schnitte. Sie sieht wie abgebildet aus, der Griff ist aus Plastik und die Scherenwinkel aus festem Metall. Man kann damit sehr präzise arbeiten, nicht schnell wie man es von normalen Scheren gewöhnt ist, aber das ist ja auch nicht der Sinn, die Schere soll jeden Stoff mit einem ZickZack Rand schneiden und das tut sie wirklich gut. Die Zacken sind klein, ca. 3 mm, so dass der geschnittene Rand bei dünnen Stoffen durchaus normal aussieht, ein gelungenes Produkt, welches ich immer wieder kaufen würden.
