Size:6.5 in. flattened length x 1.5 in. width Normally you would make Ranger Bands yourself from bicycle inner tubes. We've been doing that ourselves for years now, but we wanted something consistent in size, strength, and stretch. In 2018 we found an American factory that can make Ranger Bands for us from EPDM rubber. EPDM is resistant to heat and cold, moisture, steam, and UV light. In addition to heavy duty rubber bands, EPDM is used as a roofing material, so you know it's durable.

Lots of small ones
Really good bands, the small ones are really small, I probably shouldn’t have got the small mixed size bag. Wish I would have got the “all mixed bag”ETA: picture shows small band wrapped around a roll of paracord had to use pliers to make that happen, the medium easily fits on the miniature altoids, and the large is on a Ar15 forearm

These bands are durable and great for a tinkerer or a gear hound
These bands are durable and great for a tinkerer or a gear hound. They are a lot stronger than the rubber bands you might be used to. I used a few as gaskets for a project I was working on and they worked perfectly. I also wrapped them around some airstones to quiet them down. I found lots of uses for them and plan to get another bag because they are so handy.

Ranger Bands - Great value for an assortment.
3 different sizes included.Large: used on my rifle stock to contain my sling while not in use.Medium: used to stage tourniquets.Small: finger wrap size, many uses. Keep one on my EDC flashlight for whatever use may come up, wrap one on to the top of a BIC lighter so the gas button won’t get pushed accidentally while stored in go bagMany other uses imaginable.

Best way to secure a sling.
When you don't need your sling, why take it off? Secure it to the stock with a few Ranger Bands.

Added to sidearm pistols
I ordered the small variety pack for a variety of needs, but I wanted to leave a review specifically on one note. The 5 Large (2-1/4 in. x 1/2 in.) bands included in this pack (or if ordered solo) are perfect for a sidearm grip. If you are familiar with Hogue grips, but can't attach one for whatever reason you might have, these are a great alternative. Of course it won't have the grip ridges, but the sticky factor is similar. I love it!

Cheap and useful
Very useful retention device on my modern sporting rifle. One around my stock to stow away my sling, hold chem lights, and a tourniquet etc. Have another one on the handguard to hold down my tape switch, stow away wires etc for my lights and lasers. I also doubled up a few of these on my veritcal grip to make it more grippy.

Better than rubber bands.
They look and feel much better than regular rubber bands, and fill the job better. (so far, I mostly use them to hold charging cables to my portable batteries for convenience.)I find I have more use for the medium and large bands, as I'm not sure how comfortable I am stretching these things out; the one I did didn't shrink back to its former size.Just something to be aware of, the small ones are very small, smaller than I had thought when I bought these.

Good product, not what I expeccted.
The different sizes give me an idea of what they fit and how to really use them. I was looking for something more stretchy, like a real rubber band but they do the job of fitting snug and staying put. There is just enough stretch in them to get about a 1/4 again size differential, Learned something new with them.
