How I Met Your Mother: Season 3

The HIMYM gang [again guided by director Pam Fryman] returns with 20 more legendary episodes in How I Met Your Mother - Season Three. When Season 2 of How I Met Your Mother ended, Marshall and Lily had finally hooked back up (and tied the knot), but Ted and Robin had suddenly split up. The situations were reversed when Season 1 ended. Season Three picks up sometime later after Season Two with Robin introducing her new Argentinean lover, Gael (Enrique Iglesias) to the gang and Ted hooking up with a wild tattooed woman (Mandy Moore) after going out to party with Barney. The end result from that encounter later leads Ted (in "Ten Sessions") to a chance meeting with Stella (Sarah Chalke, fresh from NBC's recently ended Scrubs ), a dermatologist and possible "mother" candidate who he falls for in the season's most engaging story arc. Props must be given to the series creators for the attention to continuity featured each season as past acquaintances (Trudy from Season One's "The Pineapple Incident" returns with a tempting opportunity for Ted in "Third Wheel") and plot devices ("The Goat" from Season One's "Milk" and Season Two's "Slap Bet" in "Slapsgiving") are revisited this season with hilarious results. One word for this amazing show: LEGEN.....wait for it and I hope you're not lactose-intolerant because the next part of this word is...........DA(I)RY!!! If you thought that line was corny, you need to watch this show because the actor who delivers it (Neal Patrick Harris) is at his best and corniest in this AWESOME show delivering lines you never thought could be passed off on a TV show. But this is by no means a one-man act....the whole main cast is absolutely funny and you are always amused, entertained, and intrigued by the silly and yet-so-new-york-like-life. And viewers always come back for more, not just for the humor and the story line but after all, don't we all want to know how Ted Mosby met the mother of his children? If you liked FRIENDs and SEINFELD, then you are going to absolutely LOVE this show!!!

Usually, there is a risk with shows that start really great with their first season. The characters have the risk of making the same jokes and the story keeps giving you the same lines. Not with the season 3 of How I Met Your Mother. In Season 3, you'll get to see the struggles of a married Marshall & Lily, a whole new chapter for two characters and new jokes, Robin coming back with Gael (Enrique Iglesias) and the jokes surrounding it and Barney's relation with Abby (Britney Spears) alone would make it a reason enough to get this one. (By the way, Britney's role playing is pretty good, I was prejudiced at first but think she's done great). The guys of How I Met Your Mother have created a great show and the third season is another proof. Highly recommended.

Great show

This is one of the best shows on TV, and sadly I discovered it late. However, I to get the benefit of watching them in quick succession on DVD. My only complaint is that the bonus content, aside from commentaries, is fairly sparse by today's standards. The fact is you can finish everything within a couple of days. Still, it's more than worth the price. Just pick it up.

This is one of the best comedy shows in a long time. It mixes real people with great fun and insane situations, creating an endless supply of laughter. Only thing I don't like about HIMYM is the whole Stella thing, as I think they totally milked that idea to the extreme. Just a FYI.. those 2 kids were taped in early season 1 - they have since grown considerably and would not fit the profile today. Also, the writers have no idea how the whole story ends, as they only write a few shows ahead of time, maybe have ideas for the rest of the season, so it's a very dynamic show. The entire cast and crew of HIMYM are fantastic and I hope the show will continue for many years.

You know how some shows lose everything that made them charming back in the beginning as time goes by? Luckily, this doesn't look like it'll be happening anytime soon in HIMYM. This season is great--hints are finally given to the mother's identity, and the story moves forward. Barney's character in particular grows so much and it's amazing seeing NPH's acting get better and better in each episode. The only thing I guess I didn't like was the character of Stella, but other than that, 5 stars!

Season 3 was/is hilarious. You have Mandy Moore and Britney Spears both making an appearance at some point, you have a reference to Doogie Howser, and you have Robins Sparkles. Awesome. Obviously, I had already seen season 3 so I knew I was buying something I wanted. MOST DEF recommend it to ALL HIMYM fans or fans of any of the actors in it. Or, if you are interested in buying a great comedy, go right ahead! You will love it! true story.

En l’an 2030, Ted entreprend de raconter à ses deux enfants sa rencontre avec leur mère. Le voici donc en 2008 (année de cette troisième saison). Ted (Josh Radnor) a alors 27 ans et passe presque toujours ses soirées au Pub McLaren’s avec ses amis Marshall (Jason Segel), Barney (Neil Patrick Harris), Robin (Cobie Smulders), son ex-petite amie et Lili (Alyson Annigan), la compagne de Marshall. Les derniers épisodes de la saison 2 ayant eu raison du couple Ted et Robin, c’est un Ted déprimé qui entame cette nouvelle saison. En revanche, Robin revient de ses vacances en Argentine plutôt épanouie et accompagnée de son flirt, le beau Gael (Enrique Iglesias). A peine entachée par la grève des scénaristes (sauf sur la fin, un tantinet expédiée), cette salve de vingt épisodes ne souffre d’aucune baisse de régime. Les gags fusent, Barney vole toujours la vedette, et les invités de marque défilent (Mandy Moore, James Van Der Beek de “Dawson”, et même Britney Spears).

Diese Serie ist einfach nur der Hammer, man kann sich in fast jeder szene halb tot lachen. Am coolsten ist natürlich Barney, der in dieser Staffel allerdings eine schwerwiegende Verwechslung des Bro-Codes begeht. Spitze sind auch Gastauftritte von Stars wie Heide Klum oder Britney Spears. Und jetzt muss ich mal ganz ehrlich was sagen, und zwar an die Leute die ständig über die angeblich so miese deutsche Synchro schimpfen. Ich habe die Serie anfangs nur auf deutsch gesehen und konnte mich kaputtlachen, später habe ich sie in Englisch mit Untertiteln geguckt, und so vielk lustiger war sie da garnicht. Man sollte vielleicht auch bedenken, dass es viele Leute gibt die des englischen nicht so mächtig sind, dass sie sich die Serie im original ansehen können. Denen sollte man die Serie nicht madig machen. Die Extras auf der DVD sind wieder spitze, und sie sind auch wieder, im Gegensatz zu Season 2, auf den noramlen DVDs mit drauf

Esta serie es FANTASTICA!! Nunca me he reído tanto con este tipo de comedias...pero hay momentos donde no puedo parar. Es un humor a veces muy, muy tonto...pero esa el la gracia en como conocí a vuestra madre.

Todos los capitulos de la temporada en dvd, sin mas historia. No hay ningun extra ni nada parecido. Para fans.
