Pete the Kitty and the Case of the Hiccups (My First I Can Read)

I misunderstood what type of book this was. I thought it was a book with easy words for my beginning reader to read to me. It’s not. It’s apparently an introduction to reading for caregivers to read to their children. The story was cute, just a little disappointed that it wasn’t what I was expecting.

Yesterday, my son was not in the "mood" to hear nor read a story book. I told him I bought a new one and I'll read it to him. The story was very cute and engaging that he actually paid attention and had fun listening. Once I finished reading it, he asked if I could read another book. LOL

My son (6) really enjoys when I read him these stories. Also great for him to read on his own.

Book itself is cute and my kiddo tho is Pete as a kitty is adorable but the book itself is damaged. The box it came in was fine as were the other items but the book was damp and stained by some type of liquid.Amazon replaced right away.

We love Pets the Kitty. He is so cute and fun. We love to read about his fun adventures and see what he learns .

We love Pete the Cat books! This book is great for newly reading kids. It’s a really cute book.

My grandson won't stop reading this! This book was well written for my 2 year old who continues to express his love for Pete the Cat. Extremely satisfied with purchase and the shipping was fast!

Can't go wrong with Pete the Cat. We love him in our house. Great stories. I wish they made boardbook versions for toddlers!! But we still read and enjoy the paperback one.
