I was concerned when I read some of the reviews. I can say that the set I got had no imperfections and the edges were not sharp. I figured worst case scenario I just dropped $2.47 on camping utensils. For the folks who said they were large, they were lying. These things can shovel 8' of Wisconsin snow large. I may buy another set for camping.For the metal smell, I didn't have any. In the past I used to soak items in lemon juice water over night and then in Clorox water for another night. Problem solved.

These are ok, with a couple of caveats. The first is that the edges are a bit rough. You're not going to cut your tongue, but they are not smooth. The other is that they are lightweight. You won't have a problem with cereal or soup, but if you're not careful digging into a pint of Ben & Jerry's they will bend.

They are indeed spoons but the quality is sub par at best.

I purchased these for food crafting and they’re exactly what I needed. I can bend the handles to the angle I need for my project.However, I’d be disappointed if I were buying these for my table silverware. The handle is bendable. The edges are not smooth, so it feels like it would be easy to cut my lip or tongue on them.

We somehow always run out of spoons before its time to run the dishwasher. Despite some of the negative reviews, for the price I paid I decided to give them a shot. These spoons easily exceeded my expectations. While they are not as smooth as the other spoons I have they are not what I would call sharp. They are strong enough also to likely last quite a while. Perfect as spares.

I don’t understand the complaints on these spoons. My kids tend to treat flatware like it’s disposable and throw it away. I started buying the small $1 pack of metal ones at Walmart after most the pricier ones from my set disappeared. These are way more durable than those and a way better value. Absolutely great spoons for the price.
