Strong magnets, gets it down. Small space
Good strong magnetic and sturdy plastic body. But not an insane amount of space. Enough for a key or a few bills folded over. That being said if it were bigger it would be easier to spot defeating its purpose. Looks like it can hold to a car foe trip up and around but I use it for more stationary bases. Good price for a good item. The kid can be a bit tricky to slide off but not a deal breaker. Just remember that you have to place this where it can’t be seen or else you are just wasting your time. In some house there are too many metal surfaces so you just have to look around a bit. In an apartment it’s much easier. Keep in mind this is not water proof nor fire resistant. It will melt and water will definitely make its way in. Not a big deal for key and such but for small papers or currency is a problem. Also it has the company logo printed in white right on the lid. Simple electric tape or a black sharpie is the way to go if you are intent on being super covert.

not bad.
Not bad at all. It's a key holder with a magnet. Think of all the cool places you could hide keys to something interesting, and then put a magnet on it!

Well-Made. Tip For Opening EASILY!
These are VERY well-made--sturdy, and with very strong magnets. They hold about 6-7 keys (NOT fobs), depending on size. I got these solely for the house key(s), not for the cars, so I can't address that. I can open anything, yet had great difficulty with these. I even placed a rubber jar opener over the sliding cover for a better grip, and it'd work occasionally, still with great difficulty. 💡 The solution? A flathead screwdriver. I was rummaging through the junk drawer for our set of microscrewdrivers for those darn tiny screws you see on battery covers now, and just grabbed the first *standard* flathead screwdriver I found in the junk drawer. I simply worked it into the cover in the long slot opposite the "slide" icon (left side of the case) and it opened *immediately!* Nice! I couldn't believe it; I kept doing it again and again. Then I repeated that on the second key holder. It really works! These are going in the garage, so I figured there'd be no problem finding or placing a screwdriver somewhere there, but there's even BETTER news: I discovered that using the screwdriver to open it somehow "loosened" it up just enough to be able to slide the cover off without one! Whaaat? Lol. BTW, the cover closes just as securely and using the screwdriver didn't mar the case at all. I was going to give this three stars for its initial difficulty of opening, but I decided on four because they're a quality product at a great price. So to sum up, these should *arrive* easier to open, but at least there's a way to achieve that.

Strong magnets
These are a little bit bigger than I thought. But they are great. There’s room for a few keys. And the magnets are very strong.

NAIL FILE/SIDES OF TOP/OPENS EASIER
Excellent Product - I was gonna take off a star, but honestly the fix is so easy. All the reviews say it’s hard to open. But they were right…ITS RIDICULOUSLY HARD TO OPEN ! And where I am going to hide it, I don’t have a screwdriver or pocket knife handy. So I took one of my nail files and just filed down the sides of the lid a bit. Yup! Works like a charm now! Your Welcome LOL

Too magnetic; too tight a cover
Not what I was looking for: 1. hard to open: great for keeping out water I'm thinking but I needed a small screw driver to pry it open, if I can get it loose from its metal contact. 2. Fantastic magnet, probably what you want on most cars--not wanted for my purposes: I was going to hide it in my backyard but the two "underneath" places I chose I could not pry the metallic box from the metallic surface without a thin metallic wedge (putty knife).
