Works on Win11 24H2!
I had the older, all-black version of this same product, and it stopped working for Windows Hello when the Windows 11 24H2 update came out earlier this year. I spoke to support, and they didn't have a driver fix, and no ETA on a fix.I was shocked to plug this newer silver one in and discover that IT WORKS! So if you're looking for a fingerprint reader that works after Win 11 24H2 update broke compat with a ton of fingerprint readers (for security reasons), get this one. Works great.

Does exactly what it's supposed to without any issues - supports Windows Hello in Windows 11
I'm unsure why people say this model is slow, as I do not find it true. It works pretty well. It usually registers a fingerprint unless I am at a wide angle to swipe the reader, which is located on my PC. Those times, I may have to line my hand up slightly better. But my PC is on the floor and off-center from me. I never have an issue if I am directly in front of it, and the recognition is nearly instantaneous. I was not required to download any software or drivers in Windows 11. It supports Windows Hello, Bitlocker drive encryption, and FIDO2 passcodes without problems. I would repurchase it.

Works less than 50% of the time, especially after my Windows laptop has been idle for several hours
I keep my Dell business-class laptop running Windows 11 connected to a monitor, so it's never been convenient to use Windows Hello facial recognition to sign in. I was entering my PIN each time and hoped this fingerprint reader would be faster and easier. It works reliably when I "test" it, by locking it and immediately unlocking it, but that's not the real-life situation. If I lock Windows and return after a few hours, the fingerprint reader works less than 50% of the time and I end up having to enter my PIN. I have tried disabling it an retraining it on 3 fingers, but that didn't help at all. I will most likely return it and try another product.

It works
The fingerprint reader works to unlock my windoze computer. It sticks out further than I anticipated, not like a low profile thumb drive. I just use it to log into windows. I use Sticky Password for web page log in's , and it logs me in to them just fine. I think it is a bit expensive, but it looked better than the cheaper ones I looked at. Windows did not recognize it immediately, but after pulling it out and sticking it back in a couple of times it did. Setting it up was very easy. I do really appreciate not having to type my password a dozen times everyday, so it is a winner for me.

Not low profile.
It works great, however it does not sit flush like you might imagine. It sticks out a lot further then the cheaper alternative by the same brand. For me it hangs on things in my laptop bag and during travel. Something worth considering. I wish there were one of these available that sits flush with the USB port and has a very low profile.

Works Great. Easy to install.
I purchased the model for IT. I wanted to be able to move it between a couple of computers that I own. It di not need a driver. I attached it the computer and it automatically recognized it. After installing go to Device Manager. It will create a category called Biometric devices. Just go check that out to ensure it installed correctly. Then go to the 'Setting' applet in Windows and do a search for 'Windows Hello'. In the list of results you should see an option to 'Setup fingerprint sign in. Select it and it will walk through setting up the fingerprint reader. I did not rate Tech support because I did not have to use it.

Easy to Install and Use
I have it plugged in to my keyboard as a passthrough device and it installed easily on Windows 11. No weird driver issues or anything. I use it to login to Windows as well as the rare browser request for authentication.Couldn't ask for a simpler device - it does what you'd want it to do, as long as you are sure that it's what you need.

Trash. Laughably bad.
Don’t buy this trash, it doesn’t work. Doesn’t scan the fingerprint properly and you’ll end up needing to sign in regularly anyway after a few attempts anyways. The usb portion is also obnoxiously large. Who ever designed this device should be put out of business. Buy the tech mini instead from whoever makes that. I own a few of the tech minis and they work flawlessly every time. Buy for the laugh, then return a buy a real one.
