Mae Pranom Thai Chili Paste (Nam Prik Pao) 4 Oz. X 1 Jars

This little guy over here is what some would call a jack of all trades. I originally bought this to make Thai soups with. Then I started using this for fried rice and noodles. Then it just started ending up on top of white rice. Then stir fries. Sunny side up eggs. You name it, it tastes great. Lots of depth of flavor in this little bottle. Highly recommend to try this in any Asian dish that needs a little bit of oomph to it. You won't regret it.

I use this product in my Thai cooking. No substitute in my opinion. This was the only source I could find.

This is a very strong chili paste, so I only use it now and then.

Be careful as bottle may leak. Not very hot, it is rather sweet to me.

Small jar but not much required for flavoring various dishes. The product is wonderful. And so I will just keep a few on hand for when I want to use it.

And it worked well for that purpose. Have also used it as a condiment on other proteins, etc. since then. Spicy and full of flavor.

I love this sauce. I use it when I cook thai clams with basil. Just 2 tsp of this sauce and my dish is so fragrant. It’s not spicy at all. It’s more “garlic-y” if anything. Not sure if it’s cheaper at a thai market but it’s convenient on Amazon. Only bad thing is the jar is small so I run out pretty fast.

The lid's safety seal indicated that the lid had been tampered with. This, in turn, caused the leak inside the package. I will be tossing this because I don't trust it's safety. This is a total waste of my money b/c the product cannot be returned. This is also not the only complaint Amazon has received regarding this product arriving damaged.
