32", 26", and 19" (plus a second 26" as a gift)
32", 26", and 19" (plus a second 26" as a gift) No, I'm not rich...it's just that when I find something this helpful, I can do without a few other things short term (like potato chips) in order to provide myself with a great "helper". I got my first grabber--all metal and a different brand--more that a dozen years ago. It had a dedicated use as I drove my riding lawn mower over a 2-acre yard once a week. It was a good and faithful servant that helped me pick up sticks and branches as I mowed since I am unable to walk the yard and clear it of debris before mowing; last summer it broke...so naturally, I perused Amazon to see what they had to offer.I first ordered the 32" for yardwork...and it works very well. Then I realized how often I could use help inside the house as well. Ordered the 26" to hang on the front of my walker and use it so many times a day for so many things- 1) picking up cans of cat food to move to the "set up" area then to pick up the empty cans and turn to put them in a trash bag; also to pick up the plastic knife I often drop while preparing my kitties' tray of food. 2) picking up a dropped m&m to put in the trash, a dime to go in my jar of change, a piece of mail or paper that slipped out of my hand, a walk through the house daily to pick up odds & ends (books, clothes, empty water bottle, etc.) and return to their "home" before they become permanent clutter. Found the 26" grabber so useful I bought a 2nd one as a "forgive me" gift for a lady in my book club who was my librarian throughout high school years; I'm sure I irritated her more than once with my whispers and chatter so at my age of 72, I wanted to make amends. And lastly I added a 19" grabber to my collection that I can just leave in the kitchen for so many little jobs. I've only had these 3 helpers for about 6 months...but I appreciate them every day and am thankful for their assistance. Now time will tell if they each last a dozen years like my original one. Certainly hope so. Please forgive my verbosity; I doubt many have read this far but just wanted to show what a range of assistance I've received. Kudos to the designer and manufacturers!

I own a dozen of these. I like them.
This manufacturer produces my favorite reacher (grabber) and this model is one of my all-time favorite purchases from Amazon. My original purchase proved so useful that I bought several more, so that I could have a reacher in each room of the house and in my car.I am active and mobile and healthy which means this reacher is not a necessity for me. But I like owning several of them, anyway, for the convenience factor. One of its best uses is for reaching high shelves that might otherwise require a foot stool.26 inches seems to be the ideal length. I have tried longer lengths and shorter lengths. 26 inches serves most purposes best.It is not constructed for commercial use, which means don't expect it to last a lifetime like something manufactured from solid metal. But so far, the only one that has broken is one that I accidentally stepped on. So, that was my fault; not the manufacturer's.

IRREPLACEABLE!!!!!!!
I am confined to a wheelchair due to a car accident in 1992 and need the use of grabbers for many of my daily activities. I would be lost without my "helpers". As I have been disabled for 25 years, so I have had to purchase more than a few on a regular basis due to breakage from constant use. That is until I found this brand on AMAZON 5 years ago. I had to replace the 3 (purchased one in every length) only because my puppy decided he was going to confiscate one to keep as a chew toy, my mom seeing how the grabber replaced the need to bend over and "borrowed" one & I left the last one in the grocery store & a customer took it home - who can blame them? I take a grabberin the shower with me in case I drop something because it would beso dangerous to bend over & slip off the shoowerchair. The moisture has no effect on the what so ever. These RMS GRABBERS are so strong, reliable and no matter how many times they are dropped, run overby my power chair and used as a chew toy for my puppy, they are not damaged.I have used many different grabbers before butwill never buy any other brand than RMS. They are indestructible!!!!!

Best I have found!
I have used grabbers for several years but the one I used most of the time just plain wore out. I have ordered about eight different grabbers of most of the styles offered on Amazon and while all work with some satisfaction, the two I purchased from RMS are by far the most useful! Most grabbers with ergonomic trigger grips caused pain if used doing yard work. I had to use too much hand pressure to operate most of the grabbers but the handle on the RMS grabber is very efficient using much less pressure. The rotating jaws are useful and the wider tips on the jaw make it easier to pick up almost any object. I use the 26 and 19 inch grabbers and I am completely satisfied with the quality of both. They are lightweight and easy to use inside the house, the car and are great for doing yard work. I am very happy with this purchase and I recommend RMS grabbers with great confidence. Thanks, RMS!

Awesome grabber
I love this reacher! I can pick up a single piece of paper, a dime, a heavy mug, etc. I love being able to rotate the grabbing claw. No more awkward wrist positions. It picks up tiny items, very slender items, and relatively heavy items. The only thing it lacks is a grip lock. I’m fine without the lock most of the time. There’s no dressing peg on this one. Those pegs fall off of every other grabber I’ve owned, so I don’t miss it. Other grabbers won’t pick up small or very thin items. This is the best grabber I’ve ever owned! I plan to get more of these so I can have them allover the house!

gripping ability
This is the third review I've ever written in my life. Had back surgery 5 weeks ago and I can tell you this device has allowed me more independence than I ever thought it would. I've named mine "Gertie the gripper"! I've picked up blueberries without squishing them, actually picked cherry tomatoes off the plant without dropping or squishing too. But the best? Picked up a straight pin off the floor! Also picks up larger item of clothing without compromising the delicate tips. I just love this product!
