Very Nice, but Order next size up
I really like these shorts. The sizing is, as has been previously pointed out, under-sized. I normally wear a 36, and I bought both a 36 and a 38: the 36 was too tight in the waist, but the 38 fits fine, albeit a bit loose, which is okay. The fabric seems tough, and stretchy, and I like the number and sizes of the pockets, and the hammer loop. Returning the one that was too tight was super easy; barely an inconvenience, and I received my refund very quickly.

Nice shorts but will they last?
to start they are comfortable. Durability will have to be determined. I thought they were the cotton duck material but are more like a heavy-ish denim and cotton duck crossed. They are kind of stretchy where needed and the pockets could be a little deeper, All round though a good pair of shorts.

Perfect weight for summer
I've been wearing Carhart work shorts for years. The older ones were heavy denim and wear like iron. These are a lighter blend and stretchy. They are more comfortable and cooler in hot weather and wear great. Fit is true to the size chart.
