I bought this Songmics Flip Top lid Ottoman in the vain hope it would help my OH keep his "clutter corner" a bit tidier. In my head, the idea was that he would put all his odds and sods in it and then put the lid on to hide the eyesores and my inner peace and harmony would remain intact. The Ottoman is well made, easy to put up and is very sturdy. It's got a slight tweedy texture to the fabric and the colour is grey. All good. The size is perfect and fits down the side of the sofa just right. It could be used for all sorts of different uses and the split flip up lid is a very good design. BUT... my OH has filled it up with his clobber and then uses the top as a table for even more useless "should be put away somewhere" items. Newspapers, gardening magazines, post, charger cables, knee brace, random tin with even more random items in it that I have no idea of their origins. All sat proudly on show! So, the ottoman is definitely versatile, but perhaps more training of the OH to actually use it as "I" intended it to be used is my way forwards. Tsk! Great ottoman, though! Thanks Songmics!

Its nice, its compact and its serves its purpose well. Has a decent size storage, personally just using it for stuff that I never have out but can be used for clothes as well or well, anything in fact. Would recommend this for kids rooms too to store toys in, and it does look smart as well and I have to say you can use it as a seat, which I am doing all the time haha..

I bought this as a linen basket that i could also sit on in my dressing room and its perfect for the job. Suoer easy to put up. You just unfold it, drop the board in the bottom and put the lid on - thats it. I love the split lid as you dont have to take the whole lid off to dump your washing in or any other items youd want to store. Its big enough to store several towels and sheets, I'd say its too small to store a quilt in though. Also would be a good toy box. Its very sturdy so I feel quite secure sitting on it.

Wow! What a bargain find! Seriously happy with this and does the job well of storing extra bedding for summer/,winter. A total breeze to put together. Simply open up main compartment fully, insert the flat piece on the bottom and put the lid on. Done! Functionality is great too and there's loads of space for bedding, towels or whatever you need to declutter. But, the selling point for me was the split lid so you don't have to take the whole lid off. Brilliant! Great value for money too and with a wide range of styles and sizes to choose from there is something for everyone.

Very good quality, nice color and sturdy. Only a bit pricey but considering the good design of allowing half open lid for my child to put/get toys from it while keeping it in shape, it worths the price. (Bought during a discount)

Easy to put together. I'm using as a huge foot rest for my two seater sofa. Very comfortable. Sturdy enough to sit on. Size is perfect for my needs & the storage capacity is impressive. The only upgrade I would consider would be adding casters or small wheels to help moving it about. Because once you've filled it with all the things you desperately need to hide, it becomes too heavy to shift about with ease. The dark grey is a lovely colour. Good value for money. Good stability as I've said. Functionality is as expected. Very comfortable & useful
