Right price
I'm confident in the plastic but my clients don't especially like the look. High quality with a cheap looking exterior.

Not for potable (drinking) water. Needed to be RPP
To pass local requirements it needed to include letters RPP (Reduced Pressure Principal) to be a true back-flow preventer valve. Zern does have those, as do other brands/models with those letters. The local Department of Water Supply said it was not a back-flow preventer as required here in Hilo, Hawaii. This unit was not acceptable for connecting to the municipal water supply as backflow contamination could happen. So why does it have backflow listed in the title? I guess this model is OK in an agricultural situation like from your own water collection.

Cheaper than paying retail at the plumbing supplier.
