Plano 1312 Dry Storage Emergency Marine Box, Orange

I have several of these plano boxes, as well as many other plano boxes in general. I find them well made and they work well for my storage needs. I use these marine boxes to keep my tools (socket wrenches, pliers, etc) on my boat organized and dry.

Great storage for more than just pew-pew stuff. I keep emergency gear in my car and these make strong, secure containers. They're stackable, durable and inexpensive. Best part is they're made in the USA.

I use the blaze orange model as a secure dry box to hold emergency kit items. It is an ideal size for a vehicle or home kit. Large enough to store useful items and compact enough for easy transport. The box itself has a rubber gasket in the lid and a quality latch.

I bought a new truck and my old one had a bed box. I didn't want a big bed box and was looking for something to hold my cargo and tow straps. It holds the tow hooks and cargo straps, but not the tow strap or bungee cords.

Never purchased this brand or type of storage container. Extremely pleased with this purchase. The box is well constructed, with a silicone sealer that lines the top of the box and secures a seal with the body of the case. Visual inspection indicates it's a good seal, but the company is not claiming it to be waterproof. Anyway, I bought 4 of these orange plastic containers. I plan to use at least 2 for first aid kits, where water resistance to keep the integrity is imperative. The other 2 containers will be kept in the basement, filled with tools and accessories (think drill bits, saw blades, stray hand tools). I'll toss in a few silicon dry packs to absorb any humidity, too. I can think of various uses for a locking container like this. So far, can't find any problems or defects with this product. Happily, I can give this full star rating, and a high recommendation.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Only 3 stars because of the size being way too small. I decided to keep it but really can’t put much in this tiny box for my boat. Other than size it’s great. (Why does everything I get on Amazon always end up smaller than what the picture shows? My fault for not measuring probsbly. Lol. )
