Tons of great tricks
My 15yo boy has been interested in magic since he was young. He has had various books, and checked some out of the library, but he has really amazed a lot of people with what he has learned from these disks. Highly recommended for the new magician.I continue to be amazed at some of the tricks, such as the one where he can, apparently, swap out two cards that the spectator has been holding in their hand with two other cards, without the person noticing. After watching him practice, and watching him demonstrate this trick to twenty or more people, I now have an idea of how it is done, but all who have seen it have been amazed--even a couple of "heckler" type friends. He has never failed to blow people away with this trick. There are a number of other really great ones, but even if it were just the best of the 3 or 4 that are super amazing, it would be worth the price. I don't think that he has even gone through all 120 tricks yet.As my son has shown more and more people these few tricks, he has gained a great deal of confidence, and learned lessons in performing magic, if by no other means than by the repeated experience, and overcoming surprises in his spectators.

Excellent Card Magic Instruction & Value
I was looking for a video tutorial to teach me card tricks and card handling. I found these to be just what I was looking for.The instruction is excellent! The way that he teaches and the camera angles make it much easier to learn than other instructional video's I've seen. There is a great collection of shuffles, sleights, tricks etc. This will take me years to go through and learn all the material. I found it a great value for the money! The video quality however is lacking. It looks as though they took the originals (recorded on VHS I'm guessing) and transferred it to the DVD format, because the video quality isn't great, but isn't awful either. It just looks dated. I can overlook that as the material is sound.Sure there are free video's online for various card tricks (which I find helpful) but this is a great resource for someone looking to hone their skills.

A very good find!
This is by far the very best DVD I have found on the market.. I have purchased many.. This is very high quality production. The magician, and presenter, is a most excellent instructor. I love doing card trick magic.. This is most definitely a gold mine for me. It is very much worth the money for any one interested in learning magic tricks, and for understanding them very well. It has all levels. Thank you very much for making this instructional DVd and sharing your craft with the world. You have brought me a good deal of joy. I feel that I am somewhere between intermediate and advance. The section on shuffles and sleights is most helpful.

Beware! Digital download! No actual DVD!
Buyer beware. Partially my fault but this is a Digital DOWNLOAD! I rechecked and it does say that but it's NOT in the title which is misleading. It's at the bottom of the description. Kind of bummed about a $25 purchase for a download. The title should include this! Pure click bait there...

Best card magic out there
This is the best card magic set out there... It teaches you everything. 180 tricks, plus extra videos for basic card handling techniques and slight of hand. Many of the tricks are TRULY impressive. NOTE: there are MANY people that are giving this low reviews because they couldn't redeem the promo code... That's not true they just are not tech savvy. You have to create an account then HAVE TO scan the pr code

Fell short of expectations
Most of the actual sleights in this DVD set can be found for free online, while this DVD does contain a large amount of tricks, they rely heavily on very few sleights and mostly having the deck in a pre-arranged fashion. If you're doing street magic it isn't very useful because I can't stop, re-arrange the deck, and continue like nothing happened during a performance. The performances by Gerry while they tried to be funny usually fell way short which is even apparent to the "spectators" who are in the dvd with him. Saying all of that, this is a nice thing for beginners in order to have all of the basics in an easy to access place and if you do buy it I recommend watching the 4th DVD first because it goes over all the techniques that are used.

A good place to start
The presentation is dry, the tricks are nothing new, and to my knowledge none of the original creators of the tricks are credited in any way. There are other places to learn magic, most of which are frankly better as well, but honestly I recommend this to starting cardists and magicians just because there's so much information and so many tricks all crammed into one place--and that's something you really can't beat, even on YouTube. If nothing else, this'll definitely whet your appetite... But you should really consider investing in some books on magic instead or as well, as they usually have more material and can often be much easier to understand.

Buy this.., learn any trick you want to know or to brush up
Great set. Each disc is a little over 3 hours ( except for the third disc which is about 2 hours).I didn't notice at first, but it arrived a little damaged ( small crack on the case) but had no affect on the discs inside. The only real complaint I would have is that the " performance" part looked liked it was transferred from a video tape that the tracking was off. The teaching part was clear.I like during the performances, their spectators body language said they really didn't want to be there ( in the video). I found it amusing.A lot of the tricks ( especially in the beginning) I learned already but under different names. Still a lot to learn beyond the basic tricks. Goes without saying but I'm saying it anyway.
