Amazing add on that complements a lackluster design.
The design of this model truck is lacking into hat forward compartment. Almost seems like a waste of space or after thought that would fill with junk easily. With a simple piece of plastic and rubber liner this inexpensive addition to your newer model gmc is a must. That area now has a second hidden compartment and stays far more organized for those of us with OCD. Cleaning it is easy and takes little effort. The largest draw back would be the adhesion or glue used to fit the rubber top to the plastic bottom. It peels away when the cabin gets too hot. Thankfully the rubber is easily put back and I havent had to reglue it. Sometimes removal can be hard for us with larger fingers but I am extremely satisfied with the purchase and couldn't find a better one om the market.

For my 2017 Sierra
This is a fitted slab of plastic with some cheap double sided tape to hold the rubber top to the plastic slab. It was pealing away from the plastic just sitting on my counter. So I figured it wouldn't stick well once I exposed it to the elements (I live in iowa) (hot/cold) and dust from my truck.I gave 3 stars because I was expecting it to be adhered a little better than it was and I had to use my own tape to reinforce. I just happened to have some thicker double sided tape at home to help the rubber mat stick down better.It will do what I need it to do. But there's no way the original tape would have held up.For the manufacturer: you need stickier tape that covers more of the plastic to hold the rubber top down.
