Raspberry Pi Power Switch, iUniker Raspberry Pi 4 Power Switch Power Supply Cable USB C Power Switch Type-C Power Switch for Raspberry Pi 4 (2-Pack)

I use this for my Raspberry Pi, especially when using a portable battery since it has its own normal power supply, but I've also found use with these and the portable fans that plug into phones. I use a small charging cable to my small power bank, put the power bank in my pocket and plug the other end of the short charging cable into this, and the other end into an usbc female to usbc female connector for the fan. Now summer doesn't have to be too hot.

Straight out of the package, I was unable to get either of these switches to turn on my device (Raspberry Pi 4). They are "off" all the time regardless of the switch position, USB-C connector orientation, or cable position. I cannot recommend the product. However, iUniker has offered me a full refund for the product. I do recommend the company.

I’m using this as an inline on/off switch between my CarPlay screen (as it doesn’t have a power switch) mounted on my motorcycle, and power coming from the bike’s battery.After reading most of the reviews here I thought it wouldn’t work, but it actually works very well. Just what I needed.

Planned to use this to toggle the connection between my PCs USB-C in Port and a single Western Digital 2.5" external hdd. No luck, no data transfer, external drive not visible. Tried it with a powered USB hub, still nothing. I'm thinking this may transfer power, but little or no data, it would appear. Bummer.

I bought these to easily turn raspberry pi 4s off using the same power supply the pis were already using. No sign of life on the RPis at all with either switch that came in the pack. I then connected between my cell phone and cell phone charger. As per the attached image, it states "Connected, not charging". I don't even know what that means as there's no data or other connection from my phone charger. So, what is even connected? Regardless, clearly, it's not able to pass power. In fairness, turning the switch off did change the state to not connected so something switches. However, it's not passing enough power through this switch to power anything, rendering it useless. Will be returning.

Simple on/off switch for my RPi4 that reduces the risk of physical damage that could occur from plugging and unplugging the power supply.

Even though the description says that this is a 2-pack, Julytec only ships one. Read the reviews, many buyers said the same thing.
