Size:4.5 in. flattened length x 1 in. width Normally you would make Ranger Bands yourself from bicycle inner tubes. We've been doing that ourselves for years now, but we wanted something consistent in size, strength, and stretch. In 2018 we found an American factory that can make Ranger Bands for us from EPDM rubber. EPDM is resistant to heat and cold, moisture, steam, and UV light. In addition to heavy duty rubber bands, EPDM is used as a roofing material, so you know it's durable.

Lots of small ones
Really good bands, the small ones are really small, I probably shouldn’t have got the small mixed size bag. Wish I would have got the “all mixed bag”ETA: picture shows small band wrapped around a roll of paracord had to use pliers to make that happen, the medium easily fits on the miniature altoids, and the large is on a Ar15 forearm

If this review helps in any way Positive or Negative Please hit HELPFUL!!! It will help encourage me to continue my real reviews of products I've purchased. For some reason I wanted to not like these due to price. Yet the more I tested the more I was sold on these.Likes: * Uniform Quality Construction * Higher temperature working range than homemade inner tube tire ranger bands * These definitely secure my Stanley Cookset (Maybe a bit to secure at first) * Tight stretch without snapping * Clean to touch * Even the pouch has survival uses can hold 32 oz of fluid * 4.5" looked to work for many applications although I think maybe the next size up may have been better for my cook set.Dislikes: * Idea of burning one of these is like burning money to me. Same cost could be used for other sources of fire that are more environmentally friendly. * These stretch so best to break in bands some before using to get uniform stretchYes I'd buy these again. Initially I was thinking I'd just get an inner tube next time and make my own, but these are cleaner and more designed for the task. [However if I ever trek to the polar ice caps I'd use Butyl rubber ranger bands as they have better low temperature working range.]Thank you for reading my review:Again Please give this review a thumbs up. Best way to secure a sling.
When you don't need your sling, why take it off? Secure it to the stock with a few Ranger Bands.

These bands are durable and great for a tinkerer or a gear hound
These bands are durable and great for a tinkerer or a gear hound. They are a lot stronger than the rubber bands you might be used to. I used a few as gaskets for a project I was working on and they worked perfectly. I also wrapped them around some airstones to quiet them down. I found lots of uses for them and plan to get another bag because they are so handy.

Works as intended
All I can say is the larger bands are thicker than the smaller ones. That said I did great securing my sling to my buffer tube.If this review was helpful please let me know by clicking the “Helpful” button below the review.

VERY STRONG DURABLE Heavy Duty Rubber BANDS
This is a Review of the Ranger Bands made of EPDM Rubber in the XXL (4.5 In X 1 In) Size.I have never seen a rubber band as strong as these are. I bought these hoping they would fit the Original Stowaway Plano Five Fixed Compartment Storage Boxes that I store new single edge razor blades for my razor blade scrapers. These are going to work perfectly.I will never have to worry about the storage box coming open accidentally and spilling the blades. They would also be great for a stream fisherman keeping his flies or lures in one of these Plano boxes.I have absolutely no connection to this product, the seller, or the manufacturer. If you found this review helpful to you in any way, would you please be kind enough to click the “Helpful” button while here? I write my reviews solely to help others, and I like to keep up with the number of people, that I may have helped, even in a small way.

Ranger Bands - Great value for an assortment.
3 different sizes included.Large: used on my rifle stock to contain my sling while not in use.Medium: used to stage tourniquets.Small: finger wrap size, many uses. Keep one on my EDC flashlight for whatever use may come up, wrap one on to the top of a BIC lighter so the gas button won’t get pushed accidentally while stored in go bagMany other uses imaginable.

Cheap and useful
Very useful retention device on my modern sporting rifle. One around my stock to stow away my sling, hold chem lights, and a tourniquet etc. Have another one on the handguard to hold down my tape switch, stow away wires etc for my lights and lasers. I also doubled up a few of these on my veritcal grip to make it more grippy.
