I got this one in white and red to be Rogue from X-Men on Halloween. The colors showed up fine on my black hair. The white really showed. The red, I felt like was harder to get it to show on black hair. As you can see in the picture (excuse my hair…I know I should've styled my bangs), it's hard to get it to apply evenly, and you can't comb through it after spraying because it's like really stiff hairspray. The reason I took off a couple of stars is mainly because it really damaged my fine fair, so make sure that you really put a lot of coconut oil in your hair (esp on the ends) after washing this out if you plan on using it.

I purchased this in silver and although I had to use the whole bottle, it did work pretty well on my black hair. The texture was good and it stayed on for 3 days!The cons are, however, that when you spray it, you do breathe it.... So it's best to spray it outside. Also, although it says that it's water resistant, if it rains, some color will come off. And if you run your fingers through your hair, the colors will transfer a bit. It shampoos out after AT LEAST 3 times... So don't expect this to be a quick process. And use a good conditioner before and after, because your hair will get at least a little bit damaged! Overall, it's a decent product but this is not something that I would use often.

Works well on darker hair, which is great! Like the other reviews, it does take at least 3 washes with shampoo to get it off. My son doesn't really have much hair so it got on his scalp. The smell is strong. Make sure not to rub your hair against things because it will rub off. Other than that, I do really like this product and would recommend it.

absolutely terrible!!!!! Smells awful, hardly leaves any color and makes hair so stiff it is unmanageable . I have tried several hair color products like this and the only one that was worse than this was a hair color wax/gel. Don't bother to waste your money or time try anything else but this I don't usually write bad reviews but this was truly one of the worst products I have evewr tried

I bought this to use on my hair for Halloween and it worked great. My hair is dark auburn, and this spray still turned it to bright yellow. Not inexpensive, but cheaper than a wig and much cooler on the head. It washed out fairly easily, with some tiny spots of yellow hanging around through a couple of washes (mainly due to me spraying the paint so close to my head). The can mentions clarifying shampoo to help remove it, which probably would have taken it out in just 1 or 2 shampoos. Overall, I was very pleased with this product and will buying more in the future if I need brightly colored hair.

I used this for my Elsa costume. It does cover hair, but it made my hair look gray instead of white. It was sweat resistant though and stayed put and I didn't feel like it was dripping or transferring. so it was worth it for me.

Much better than some hairsprays! But itself it shows up but not as strong as I would want it to... So I also purchased a white one to use as base both did a great job!

Smells awful, like very strong old lady perfume and unfortunately although the color was cool it didn't even last the school day. It also spread all over everything, by the end of the school day their faces and their clothing was covered. We've used many other brands happily but would not use this one again.
