This little sucker works great! Over the winter, I was getting zapped constantly by door handles, the volume knob on my stereo, etc… it was driving me nuts and making me a bit jumpy. I now keep this on a carabiner with my keys and use it religiously.I touch the tip of the tool to the door handle and can actually see the static discharge. Then, I’m able to use the door without getting zapped. Well worth the price.

There was no English on the package, or instructions I could read. It does serve to discharge static at the office and it looks neat. I have only seen the light portion flicker once - the lighting was low, and the amount of static discharged was so great that the guy in the next cubicle asked me if I was ok.

Can't eliminate the static shock. You still get shock! I returned it. Totally useless.

No more static discharges that feel like you're getting stung by a bee!I work with electronics day-in and day-out. If I'm not on a computer, I'm back messing with transformers, batteries, inverters and plastics. I'm pretty sure our carpet is connected to the grid some way. So I'm always getting shocked by the most mundane things like our Biometric Fingerprint Timeclock, the House Plant just around the corner in our office hallway, coworkers giving me electrically charge High Fives...No more of that! This keychain when touched to a grounded surface will eliminate the pain. The spark will jump from the tip of the keychain into the item you've touched.Despite what others have said, I've yet to see the internals light up when discharging. I've even discharged myself at night. The only spark I see is between the tip and the grounded item.I use this keychain in grocery stores, big box stores and on windy days when I know my car is likely about to Tazer me. It really works.-------This Keychain is also great for tasing other people when you or them is statically charged! You will NEVER feel the pain, but they will recoil like you hit them with a stun-gun. Great little product. Cool little dragon design etched in. People always ask what that is I'm holding and why. It's worth their weird looks when I explain and they look at me like I'm the smartest dude in the world.

I work in a high-static environment, and (used to) get shocked frequently. I'm not talking about light shocks either. I'd see an arc at least 30-40 times per day. I still feel a small bit of the transfer, but the pain is dampened by at least 95%.The design is nice looking, but I don't expect it to last. Being connected to my keys, I forsee it being scratched off in less than a month.

I have not been shocked while I have had the keychain in hand. It appears to be working. No description or instructions came that could be read. It was in Chinese

The Static Gods have something against me or I have a very electric personality. Either way, I am the one who gets static shocks on a regular basis during winters and real bad ones at that. The static got to me so bad that I found my self choosing gas stations and other places with automatic doors rather than manual ones. I came across this product and decided to try it. Its works as advertised. You touch this on any metal part of the car when you come out and there is no static after that. Sometimes i get a little bit of it when I touch it on the car if it is really severe but nothing like how i used to in the past. This has now become my magic wand to control my electric personality.

Excellent ! Plus aucune décharge électrique depuis que j'utilise ce petit porte clé ! Il suffit de le tenir dans la main et de toucher un objet via le bout du porte clé. On entend d'ailleurs que l'électricité statique se décharge sur le porte clé. Par contre, ça ne fait pas de lumière de mon côté. (Possible que la pile soit morte depuis longtemps) Attention pour les très grosses décharges électriques, il est possible que vous sentiez quand même une mini décharge. Mais c'est vraiment minime. (Exemple poignées de portes de la voiture où l'électricité statique est TRES importante, il est possible de ressentir un mini choc même en utilisant le porte clé)De mon côté j'arrive à éviter les « chocs » dans 95 % des cas ! Et croyez moi, pour quelqu'un qui prend des décharges tous les 4 matins, c'est vraiment le bonheur !Attention, le produit vient de Chine et aucune notice en anglais n'est fournie.Mais en gros :1) Tenez le porte clé dans une main via le bout métallique côté chaîne2) Touchez l'objet avec la « tête » du porte clé3) Vous entendez l'électricité statique se décharger lors du « choc ». Une seconde suffit pour vous décharger complètement4) Une lumière est censée apparaître lors du choc dans la partie bleue de l'objet mais je ne l'ai jamais vu. Probable que la pile soit morte, je ne suis pas la seule à qui ça arrive
