Works great!
I really like this laptop, it works great for me. I’ve had it for 7 months now and haven’t had too much of a problem. There are a few things that can bother me but nothing that’s a big deal or concerning. The things that bother me are that it can get pretty hot while gaming, but that’s to be expected with a laptop. I play CoD Modern Warfare on it and it can get pretty warm but it doesn’t take away from the performance much and it has good fans, but they are loud when running on full blast. I had all of this in consideration when buying it therefore these things don’t concern me. It’s good for beginning to get into gaming, if you’re serious about it build a desktop. This is great for gaming, video editing, photoshop, etc. I’ve used it for all of these. Steam, battle net for CoD, Adobe Creative Cloud, all the programs associated with those run great. Graphics card is great with all of these and nvidia keeps the drivers updated pretty well. Over all it’s a great laptop and I’ve enjoyed it for the past 7 months and looking forward to using it for a while.

Great small laptop
I have had this laptop for over two years and I have had no issues with it. I have the GTX1050 version. It wont play the latest games in 2023. But any game that has been or is on the ps4 it will run decently. Charging has been fine, screen is still great. The outer case is a nice hardy metal so it still looks the same as when I have bought it 2 years ago.

Excellent computer, if you have a problem charging battery it's windows 10 NOT the computer
computer works great. Like others I found it was not charging at one point while plugged in. Did research and found it is a common problem with windows 10. If you run into this problem you will find helpful instructions on how to fix the issue. It will almost happen everytime windows 10 updates so be prepared to do the fix each time or turn off updates for windows 10

Sweet laptop.
This laptop is really nice and super fast. Boots instantly thanks to the SSD. The Nitrosense program makes sure your processing unit and graphics card stays cool. It will automatically sense when the computer is under load and increase the fan speed, or you can manage the fan speeds manually. The performance is good; playing Fallout: New Vegas at ultra-high graphics only uses about 35% of the GPU. I've had it for a few months and no problems so far.

Battery doesn't charge - Acer Customer Service is not good
I bought this laptop on 4/21. It was received on 4/28. I used this computer for one week. The computer speed/graphics/gaming is wonderful. I was under the impression that this was a great computer. And for one week, it was. Then the battery stopped charging. It charges for just a few seconds, but then stops saying *3%, plugged in, charging.* This is not true. I have slowly dropped from 10% to 3%. Eventually, I know that I will not be able to turn the computer on. I called Acer Customer Service. They had me unplug, hold the power button for 30 seconds, plug back in and turn on. It turned on but is still not charging. He said the only - and was adamant that this is the only option - is to send the computer back for 10 - 14 business days so that Acer can find the problem. Two weeks or longer without a computer is not even a reasonable option. No working person can just go without a computer for 2 weeks. I asked for a refund. I will just buy a different computer. He told me that is not an option. So, I will have to see if I can get a refund from the seller. Be wary. This is a known issue from Acer. If you check their forum, you will see that they are not resolving the issue. They are just replacing the power cord or battery. I gave this computer a 2 star simply because the computer is a great computer, but if it will not charge, it is completely useless. If the issue is resolved by either the seller or Acer (without me losing my laptop for 2 weeks), I will edit my review.

Overall great computer, stingy with the storage
I will say that this is quite an excellent computer. It can handle video games quite well and the screen is incredibly sharp. I love the brushed metal exterior and the awesome appearance. It's been awhile since I could play my video games at all, let alone crank up the graphics to the highest setting without any lag at all. Absolutely delightful! But the amount of storage at 237gb is very low even for a laptop. I barely finished installing all the programs I wanted and already, I have less than 50gb of storage left. Sure, there are upgrades available but I don't think I should have to upgrade the storage to get it to an acceptable level. And having to pay over $500 to get a prebuilt graphics upgrade on this laptop is pretty laughable when you already know how to do it yourself. You can get the upgrade for around $200 and install it on your own. So I plan on sinking a little money just to get this laptop up to where I want it. Overall, this laptop performs well and if you just want to play games on it, you can have it for less than $1000. Worth the buy, 4/5.

Good labtop
First gaming labtop or labtop at all for that matter, so I’m not an expert on the subject or anything but during this Quarantine I wanted to try pc gaming and so far I’m loving it can run all the games I’ve tried in max graphic settings with no issue fans a little loud on max setting And if it’s not on max it runs pretty hot quickly the battery doesn’t last too long either but I just leave it charging while I play and don’t really have any issues
