Inexpensive, functional, and easy
I purchased this because I had a spare M2 PCIE drive, but my desktop had no more slots, and its only open expansion slot was 1X PCIE (perhaps 4X). Either way, I powered off the PC, plugged this in with the drive inside, and powered the PC back on. It worked immediately and without issues. My only complaint is that it seems to have a blue LED light that is always on. Easy to install and great value. It was nice to have both normal and slim form factor plates included.

works great, adds another M.2 PVMe slot
works as advertised. adds another PVMe memory slot. why, you ask? well it's like half speed of a normal M.2 slot, the speeds you get from an M.2 SSD are still more than adequate for everyday use, like saving documents or files, or programs you don't use or really care about. this frees up the main SSD for things like games, work programs, or video files and high quality photos

Worked perfectly for my weird use case.
I needed a 1/4 height PCI card to run an M2 in a CHENBRO ES34069-BK-180 case, and since that isn't a thing that exists, I bought this one and made a special mounting bracket.Works great with my M2 (SAMSUNG 970 EVO Plus SSD 500GB) and can boot Linux from it on a picky motherboard (ASRock J5040-ITX) even. Not the fastest of cards but it's a PCI x1 so I'm just happy it works at all with an M2 :)

Works as expected
No hassle to install, works as advertised - came with everything needed. If you need to add another NVME drive and have a free PCIe slot, this is a good choice.

Not plug and play for my setup.
I had to go into Administrative Tools, Computer Managment, then Disk Managment to format the unallocated new drive. Asus M588 with a Crucial P3 M2. Yeah maybe a sata SSD would be easier. Still happy once I seen what's going on and everything worked out great!

corrupted my OS
Plugged it in, booted up, Windows didn't recognize it. Then started having device manager randomly crash, Windows fails updates even after a repair install, M2 SSD worked fine when I used an external USB enclosure instead. Not 100% sure it was the device but that seems like by far the most likely explanation.
