If you just need a simple camera or video without wifi or cell capabilities, this will be a good fit. We put this by our salt block/watering station. It has plenty of timing options for pictures and videos to please everybody. Even my wife siad we were getting too many pictures so we were able to dial it back. The sc card has plenty of room for most people, but that can easily be upgraded if you need more space. The quality of the night shots is solid, possibly too bright actually. The day shots are fine. We are spoiled by the quality of the pictures on modern phones.

I bought this to identify what animals were damaging my property. I had a bit of a challenge setting the camera up as the directions are pretty sparse but eventually got it right. First night I tried pictures and got some of what I needed but really needed video so set that up and wow, great video and some surprises were discovered. Day light picture quality is outstanding, and night is quite adequate. At this point I am very happy with the product.

Pictures are good in day light as well as nighttime. Picture distance in daylight is approximately 75 feet; nighttime approximately 60-65 feet. Camera setup fairly easy. Packaging was complete with all described items, i.e., camera, SD card, reader and strap. So far so good. Update: since I initiated previous review the SD card shipped with unit gets error code and has to be replaced. Update: Have bought a second unit. The pics and repeatability/reliability major reason. Will see how long 16GB shipped card last in this one. Cameras have worked well in temps down to minus 2 and first camera still going after 3 months on original set of batteries!

Took pictures for a week, nothing last 3 weeks, checked weekly. Camera does not stay on and it has 8 new lithium ion batteries. Take a battery out and put it back in and powers up, but when door closes, loses power again.

Camera still under warranty. They want me to try to figure out if it is in the firmware or needs to be replaced. I don’t have a computer to even try to attempt this process and more importantly i should not have to do this. If my car has a problem the mechanic doesn’t ask me to try to repair myself first. It was suggested that i use someone else’s computer. OMG. VERY DISAPPOINTED. I purchased two of these camera in 2021 and they continue to function properly. This one did until a few weeks ago. It goes thru batteries in less than a week. Don’t buy this product. Company will not honor warranty

Not happy with this purchase. Cameras refused to work when temps go into the 30's. I can put new batteries in and it will refuse to function in the field. Ive tried putting them in a sunny area and it did the same thing. Dissapointed

This cam is pretty good confiding many of the issues that spypoint has had with some of there other trail cameras. Affordable and good picture quality. It works well with the spypoint cell link
