Very Impressed
I kept having issues with my Xbox One X loading CoD Cold War after the merger of the two major titles. I didn't have much hope when buying this unit, but I had read about the benefits of SSD's, so I decided to try one. This was one of the best accessory purchases I've ever made. It's small, lightweight, and fits just about anywhere, while also reducing the load time of my console by what feels like half (I haven't actually times it, but I definitely notice a huge difference). If you're looking for something that won't break the bank, this is the best bang for your buck! I transferred the entire CoD Cold War/Modern Warfare game to this drive in under 20 minutes, which would have been much faster if the console would'nt have slowed it down. After I did, I've had no more issues with the game failing to load, or loading very slow.I would highly recommend this for anyone with similar issues.

Pubg magic
I've been playing pubg since launch on an OG Xbox 1, if that's why you're here then you know what the deal is. I've had a 2tb external HD for awhile which was nice for storage but the ssd was always spoken of as the magic missing piece for those hot drops and just running the game properly. It has done the trick wonderfully. Can't believe I waited this long to finally get one haha.. Definitely grab this up, especially if you're like me and refuse to pay half the cost (100+ bucks) of a new Xbox for some of these fancier TB model ssds. This is awesome bang for the buck and more than enough space to run 3 or 4 games off of it. I'll update if it starts on fire or craps out otherwise. Get one!

Improves various load times and render times on the Xbox One
I have only owned it for 1 month so this is strictly an initial review. Plug and play for Xbox. It gets formatted and named. Move whatever game you always play onto it. The elder scrolls online had significant improvements. Anything that may draw or slowly load in now pops up instantly. Remember this will not clear lag and or network/console strain. It only helps with specific things, but in general well worth it. Other games like call of duty, vigor, and mine craft had loading screen improvements. Meaning you may load into the match quicker. Loading world and packs load in quicker. I hope this thing lasts me ages. It’s so useful. I run it a lot. Eso is a hardcore mmo and I’m assuming pretty stressful on equipment. Even so if I replace it every 3 years it’s still a great value!!!

Hot all the time
I needed a new external drive to replace my 10 year old one as I fear it's on its way out. On sale, this was the cheapest 500gb SSD I could find. Even over internal 2.5" ssd's. Overall it's pretty good. I like the small form factor, its sdd, from a good company, and it's external so I don't need to use an enclosure. My computer has a problem recognizing this drive and then randomly disconnecting from it when plugged into a usb 3.0 port. I tried changing the 3.0 port power settings but it still acts up. If I use a 2.0 port it works perfectly fine. I only occasionally transfer small files so 2.0 is fine by me. Yes the speeds are only 25mbps but so be it.This drive does get hot though. Even when not transferring files it stays between 50-60°C when all my other drives are 30°C. When transferring, this gets up to 80°C!

Fantastic SSD for the price.
This is a fantastic SSD for the price. 940GB for $99 is a steal. ADATA is also a brand that I trust since I was a teenager and I was using their blank CDs to burn music. Its an SSD so no moving parts however it comes with a rubber shell which makes me more confident that it will resist in time. Only downfall is that it comes with a USB-A cable which is not ideal in 2020 so you might have to get a extra USB-C cable for fast transfers and compatibility with the macBook pro. I recommend it if you look for a quick upgrade to your overall storage.

Performance is as advertised (Windows 10 PC)
I just got this. First thing I did was test transfer rate on my Windows 10 PC.Transferred 80GB+ of data and throughput was 380-445 Mbps. Took about ~5 mins.(Keep in mind to change the properties of the drive, from "Quick Removal" to "Performance", be aware of data loss potential in this mode).Device itself is small and has a well built and sturdy housing. Looks rugged enough. All in all, I'm happy with it so far.

Durable & Fast (Benchmark Tested)
For external to carry around on site or place to place per GB and the speed you can't beat it. It isn't as heavy as I'd thought it would be but it's got some rugged rubber protection to help with drops (if they were to occur). It bench-marked well (considering what all else I had running at the time / ports in use). I will attach a img of the benchmark and update this as I use it more.Over all I would recommend it for the price, size and speed. Hope this helps!

Get this if you’re storage hates you
I have a laptop with 4GB RAM that I bought at a pawn shop for 100$. That being said, I needed this. I used all my birthday money to buy this and don’t regret it. Without it, I wasn’t able to do anything. Download photos, making internal changes to my laptop. I couldn’t even download Discord without my laptop alerting me about how little storage I had.
