Makes a great, meaningful gift!
I have made several of these books as an adult and given them as gifts - they're so fun. I have limited artistic abilities but just enough to do some fun drawings and write stories for people. Did one together with my very young niece - let her dictate the story to me as we both colored the pages together. It's a wonderful keepsake now that she's 18!! Also did one with no drawings and when I got it back from being printed, I made picture collages on each page - wrote the story in memory of a dear pet that passed away. Great quality books and a fun "about the author" page to fill in.

This company no longer prints the books
After my daughter wrote and illustrated the book. We mailed it off and the company returned it. They are no longer using the illustory format. so all that work for nothing. You should not sell the kits anymore. They are not able to be printed.

Expiration date on item!
This particular item is outdated. If you try to make your story online, beware, the ID or tracking number you will receive in the box to use on lulujr.comWill not work. I had to contact the developer and ask for a new code. They thankfully gave me one but ask the company selling it to you if the box you're buying has an expiration date, cause they do!

High quality
I have bought many “illustrate your own story” type kits, and compared to This One, they all just don’t measure up. The hard cover is like having a Real book made by you and/or your kid, that actually looks good on your book shelf.

My 9 year old loves to write stories. I know he is going to love the fact that his story will be sent to him in a "real" hard bound book! I had bought one of these in the past for my older child and it was a hit! Easy to do.

company no longer exists
I bought two of these for my grandkids. They were very excited. Utterly destroyed though when we came to submit the books they had created as the company no longer exists. Please take this product off the web site to avoid other disappointed children

Reasonably price. Everything you need project is included.
I had a wonderful time making memories with my 6 year old nephew. He’s ‘aspiring to be an author” and loves writing. His special story will always be in this book.”

I have no idea why this product is still allowed to be sold. The publishing company does not exist anymore. Do not purchase
