Ease of use
Love this chopper! I had it's white version which was smaller before but had to get the bigger one and I love it! You don't have to twist it to get it off like the white one, don't have to twist the cap to make it start chopping either. Easily comes apart and easy to clean.

BEST OPTION FOR THE POWER/SIZE/BUDGET
Works so well that I have to write a review! The food processor is pretty powerful and blends food perfectly. It is very easy to clean and taken apart, the size is not too big so easy to organize. Honestly the best option if you do not want to spend too much and don’t have space.

Electric Mincer
I've been using this grinder for over a year, and so far it's worked super well. Everything stays intact. I've even ground up bits of meat in it. It's easy to clean. Just be careful with the container, as it's made of plastic and can break easily. But so far, after a year, so good.

Good SMALL chopper, but weak plastic
I have a full-size food processor, and it is a pain to use, clean, and store, so I got this chopper on a lark, with few expectations, and it was a pleasant surprise!First: it is SMALL. Only half an onion at a time, and even that has to be quartered to fit! So you'll do some hand-cutting before you can even load anything into this Proctor Silex. Once the food is in it, though, it chops up a storm! Easy to dump the cup of chopped onions (or whatever) into another bowl, and move on to the other half, or the rest of however many times you need to refill.Second: it is EASY - only four parts! Motor, cup, blade, and lid. An extension on the lid operates the switch, so it has a safety built-in. Also, the base locks into the motor. When you're finished, put away the motor, and put the rest in the dishwasher - simple! The problem: the plastic is weak. The parts of the cup that clip to the motor broke first - one side in the first six months, the other in about two years. Then the rim around the lid cracked. One side extension (to the switch) broke at about 18 months. When the other broke, the unit became unusable.Other: The blade stayed sharp, and I used it A LOT. The motor was still in good condition - it would have been nice to just replace the cup and lid, but I didn't see that available. Small nitpick: this thing chops one size, one style - mostly, I like it, but it would be nice to be able to make, say 1/4" thick slices of celery or carrots - for that, I need the full-size processor. For the price, I think it's a good bargain. I used mine A LOT, and I have now bought another (same thing) to replace it - so to me, it's worth it! I looked at better, bigger choppers with more options, but I can still buy TWO more of this one for that price!
