Feels heavy duty
Feel heavy duty but not tested electrically. The paddle sticks out almost 1 1/8" versus 5/8" for a standard round bat handle toggle.

Works like a charm.
Bought to use as bilge pump on/off control on my little boat. Easily wired up and looks right at home on dash panel. Working well so far. Would recommend if looking for a solid- built toggle switch for boat, car, tractor, etc.

Perfect power switch, works exactly as described
This switch is perfect for what I needed, to switch power from my car's amplifier/subwoofer to my aftermarket air compressor. the switch handles the load, it's perfect for a 12 volt car battery where you need to power different items in the car.

Does not naturally return to center
This switch could be a problem because it does not return to center and turn off motor. Could cause motor to continue to run and burn out.

Great switch to replace my bass boat switch 1986 model.
Liked the quality liked the screw connectors. Powers on in the up and down location. Off is center. Not a three way switch in the terms of a traditional two switch configuration. Meaning that you have either power on in the up location or in the down location you can't turn on a device/light at one location and off at the other and then back on at the former location not that kind of 3way switch. Just two on location. A very good switch and exactly what I wanted high quality and I'm very happy.

Use ring lugs!
Nice and sturdy. Full hardware included. Use ring lugs for your wires to get full benefits of this switch.

Poor design, hidden defects!
The throw switch moves very little, so it is difficult to tell in a glance, where it is set. A mistake can easily be made.Wonder why the throw switch is so long? It’s because flipping the switch is hard to do! The long switch is an attempt to reduce the difficulty of flipping the switch, and it’s STILL too hard to flip the switch. It’s a terrible design! I hope I can return it, but if not it’s just into the trash with it!

I like that it doesn't take a lot of pressure to switch
I use this switch to switch between a 48 Volt Sealed Lead Acid battery bank and a 48 Volt LiFePo4 battery bank on the same scooter. I was planning to mount it to the plastic under the seat but found that it took so little pressure to switch between the two banks that I left it hanging there instead protected by good old duct tape. The center-off position insures that the two banks can't possibly short together during switching since the voltage is a little different between the two banks, but I've also used it as a theft deterrent (i.e. hidden switch position to remove all battery power so someone can't simply drive it away). About four months later with trouble-free operation and I couldn't be happier.By the way: This switch is meant for low voltage, high amperage, DC applications. Nothing from the manufacturer suggests otherwise. Anyone using this for high voltage AC applications deserves to get shocked!
