bokman for iPhone 7 White Screen Replacement Parts Display Assembly Front Panel

Purchased this iPhone 7 screen replacement as I've used Bokman screen replacements for iPhone 6s twice in the past, and found installation fairly easily, and the product to be decent quality.Product arrived in good packaging with tools and instructions included.On assembly, I found the instruction booklet (c30 steps) to be incomplete: steps detailing removal of the old screen are included, then nothing more. No steps showing installation of the new screen, or transfer of the necessary parts. Presumably this is all inferred, and the user can just reverse the steps taken to remove the broken screen, but IMO if you were doing this for the first time it could be daunting. Best to have a YouTube video on standby. Also, one of the steps shows the wrong picture, (pic of home button bracket location and screws whilst describing removal of earpiece bracket) - again, incorrect and confusing. In general however, the descriptions are good and the pictures clear.Missing entirely from the new screen was a clear plastic recess for the front camera lens, which ensures the camera is situated correctly and can't move about. I had to pry the old one out of the broken screen and attempt to fit it in the new, which was not ideal, and was not a problem I'd had with the 6s screen replacements.Once assembled, the screen is not as bright as previous, and I notice an imperfection when displaying bright/white colours: a dark spot approx 5mm diameter.Overall, I'd say it's okay. I might be tempted to try the easier to install but more expensive full pre-assembled replacement screen (which includes new home button, earpiece chip, EM shield, front facing camera.) if the fingerprint id functionality is not important to you.

The tools that come with the glass screen are made of plastic and even the screwdrivers are so cheap they were damaged (burred) before I got all the screws out. I have replaced an iPhone battery before which wasn't too difficult, replacing the screen IS extremely hard and wouldn't recommend it unless you are very technically proficient AND you already own some tiny Philips head screwdrivers (some of the screws are 0.3mm). Unfortunately I gave up and couldn't even remove all the screws so the whole thing was a waste of time, if you want to replace the glass front pay the £60 and get a shop to do it for you.

I was a little sceptical for a screen at such a cheap price, but no bad reviews regarding the screen - only the tools I gave it a go.No issues from the screen and the tools used properly, not a problem. The only think I would say is there is no way you will pull the screen off with a Suction cup - after watching a few you tube ‘how tos’ I had to use a very thin scraper blade to prise it free. After the screen was free it was a doddle! 👍🏻 Oh and the last point there was no waterproof seal in the kit which I sourced for £1.50 all in all 1 hour start to finish.

I can't stress enough that the product itself is perfect. Quality is amazing and the way it is packaged and sold is outstanding. Decent quality tools (however, I have my own). The repair process is a little involved and as I do this professionally for me it is not too bad. However, this is not something I would recommend for beginners. The kit comes with decent detailed instructions, but, there are stages in the repair that are easy to mess up and end up making things a lot worse. If you are in any doubt whatsoever, get a professional repair done with someone who will provide a warranty and a solution should the repair go wrong. I have done hundreds of these and will still on occasion make a mistake we are all human.If on the other hand, you know what you are doing then I can't recommend this replacement screen enough!

Was just what I needed, instructions were clear and easy to follow, the ring pull to remove the screen was a bit feeble ended up switching for a thicker ring pull, but once the screen was off, was easy enough to follow with a bit of care.

This was my first time changing a phone screen, I simultaneously read the instructions and watched a youtube tutorial and followed along. An hour later I now have a shiny new working screen, I took it slow and I am impressed with the quality of the screen compared to local repairs I have done. Only thing I would say is the instructions shows you how to get the screen off and not how to reattach but I guess its just back in reverse again.

It works, it’s easy to install but it’s a bit off colour and not very sensitive.

The screen seems good quality. Once you take the original iPhone screen off. You lose water resistant part of the phone. The screen doesn’t come with the water sealer. Which was no problem..My only problem was the blue screw for some reason didn’t fit my phone screws.So I emailed them. They got back pretty soon after and gave me a partial refund.My partner broke his phone a few days after I broke mine. So we tried to put the screen on his phone instead (I ended up getting a new one)The screws didn’t work on his phone too
