4" Silent Analog Alarm Clock Non Ticking, Gentle Wake, Beep Sounds, Increasing Volume, Battery Operated Snooze and Light Functions, Easy Set (Black)

The clock has a large, clear white face with black numerals that is easy to see. The light, which is placed at one point on the perimeter, is plenty bright. It lights for 5 or 6 seconds when the bar at the top is depressed, which is great, because you can reach out and press it and retract your arm and read the time in a leisurely manner. Not the most aesthetically pleasing time piece- it is plain cheap black plastic (which is fine); emphasis is on function. The alarm beeps fairly low and slow (which I like very much- I don't need some loud blaring sound to wake me) and quickly gets louder and faster. (I wish the duration of the quiet segment was greater.) Top bar functions as a snooze as well as a light activator. One niggle I have is that the sliding button that turns the alarm on and off is rather small and a little hard to get a hold of and move; I think it could be better-designed but it's OK. Seems to be very accurate as a timekeeper. Requires 3 AA's. Good practical bedside clock at a good price.

The clock is compact, silent, large numbers for easy reading, the alarm begins softly and then builds up in volume and tone. The on/off switch is so easy to use. The dials to adjust the alarm time and clock time are nice and sturdy so I don't have to worry about them snapping off. Got a great buy.

This alarm clock is really great. The packaging is very beautiful. The quality is also very good. and this clock is easy to use. it is suitable for young people also suitable for the elderly. The alarm clock will not make a ticking sound when it is in operation. it is very quiet at night. It will not make any noise to wake you up. I really like this alarm clock. it is just splendid. Since I bought this alarm clock, I have never been late for school. I also recommended this alarm clock to my friends.

The clock this one replaced had a lousy alarm, too low. I was using an old cellphone as an alarm when I needed one. I haven't had to use the cellphone since I got this clock. I like that it starts low and the volume increases as it continues to ring. There isn't any way to set or change the volume, it's factory set. The starting volume could be a bit louder. The only way to tell if the battery is low is when the clock starts running slow. I haven't had to replace the battery yet so I don't know if a low battery affects the alarm volume. I don't use the alarm that often. Maybe 8 to 10 times so far.

2023 UPDATE: I set my clock on the edge of the bathtub, and then proceeded to knock it off the edge, whereupon it fell with a crash into the tub, and the hands fell off. My bad. I tried to open the clock to press the hands back in place on their spindle, no big deal, but couldn't access the face of the clock without breaking it apart. So, I ordered the same clock as a replacement. Cost about 12 bucks, and I'm back in Business.If I were to design a bedside alarm clock, this would be it.Simple. Silent, Clear. Easy to use. Inexpensive.Big, easy-to-read analog dial, but a fairly small footprint on my cluttered night stand. A thousand times easier to read at a glance than the digital clock it replaced. No red glow to interfere with night sleep, but a tap on the top of the clock turns on a light for a few seconds. The same button activates the snooze function.The alarm does increase in volume and insistence. Still, it may not be as loud as some others. But it is loud enough for me.Two little knobs on the back: One sets the time; the other sets the alarm. No fumbling for the right buttons to press on a digital clock to accomplish these tasks. Like the other three analog clocks in our house, it has no low-battery indicator. If this is a concern, just replace the batteries once a year, and you should be fine.Only had it a couple of weeks, so don't know about the long-term reliability. But as of now, I love it.Update: had the clock about three years now, it still works just fine.

It’s easy to use and read. It is fairly quiet, but sadly the constant little tic it makes keeps me awake unless there is air conditioning or a furnace actively running. Maybe a truly silent clock doesn’t exist :/

This clock is great. It is bold and simple in B & W and it is a sleek design. Almost vintage looking. The best thing about it is I can read it from a distance or in the middle of the night- very easily. It is truly silent. That was my #1 requirement for a bedside clock (to be able to read it, yes... ) but to not have to hear any mechanism or buzzing.... and this one is SILENT! The only "click" I ever hear is where the alarm is set. So if it is set at 7 am and I have not activated the alarm button function, I will still hear a slight "click" as the hand movement passes over the alarm setting... a small thing... I can live with it. It is great. I have had it about 2 months now. So far, keeps perfect time.

I wish it were a little louder on the alarm. It's nice that the alarm begins quietly and becomes louder, but still, the final alarm is not as loud as I need it to be because I am hard of hearing. Other buyers would probably not think the alarm feature needs to be louder.I like the easy to press bar at the top of the clock that makes it light up so you can see the time at night, and that the light does not stay on but for a few seconds, enough time to see the time.

My sister mentioned that she didn't have a clock at the side of her bed so I bought her this clock and she is very pleased with it. The right size, brightness and no noisy ticking! A good buy from me and a good present for her.

I brought this clock for my elderly mum who wakes in the middle of the night and likes to see the time. The light is excellent and the large numbers are easy for her to read. Excellent little clock and well worth the money easy to set the time and alarm if needed.

I like the clock so easy to use set alarm. Back to the old days. The only thing is that it doesn't light up through the night.

Broken and could not set time , didn't keep time at all , absolutely rubbish

This is very easy to read, nice clear dial, just press the top if want to check the time during the night.
