Disney: Storybook Collection Advent Calendar Calendar – Advent Calendar, November 7, 2019

Love this and so will my kiddo! The holder is very large and hardcover so it will last a long time. The books inside are cute, a bit longer which I like, and decent sized. My little on will be so excited by the whole thing. I am not sure why there are so many negative reviews for this. Yes the description does not say a lot, but the dimensions for the the holder and books are right there so you know what you are getting. It clearly states paperback books so of course they are thin and maybe a bit flimsy. Also to anyone upset the books are not Christmas themed, it does not say anywhere they will be and if you look through the pictures you can clearly see in one that each book is based off a movie. I understand being excited and ordering something without reading the details because I have been there. But this is getting a lot of undeserved negative feedback. Well worth the price and a great advent item as an alternative to chocolate and candy!

I think this product is pretty decent. The books aren’t holiday related, but the overall description was pretty vague. They do feature a lot of text, but manageable for most children. The books are indeed tiny, however they are still books. I think the board and pockets are great- After my niece gets all her books, I intend on reusing this in my classroom next year. I believe any kid will truly appreciate getting a small token like this every day. The paper over the books is fairly thin, as are the pages, but again- if the gift is for a child, they would love it. As for those complaining about the books being the same as the movies, have your child try their best to retell the story as you turn the pages (or just flub along of you need to keep the bedtime stories speedy)

So this is REALLY CUTE and fun for our kids and the best part is that YOU CAN REUSE IT. So, if you don't let your kids absolutely mutilate the red sleeves, you can reuse it or give it to someone to use for their kiddos. The books are cute and tell the entirety of the story lines. The carry case it comes in is great for storage and rather sturdy on the outside. My advice would be to not let your kid(s) rip it to shreds and you (or someone else) can reuse it again and again. We pre-ordered this in Aug-Sept and received it in November.

I'm blown away by the amount of complaining on these reviews. It's amazing! And a steal at $20. It's large and nicely packaged. The entire calander opens like a giant hardcover book (tied shut with a little ribbon) and reveals all the books. They're each in a pocket and sleeve that slides off (so you can repackage for other years) square and paperback. They're actual books. Not toddler board books. So yes, the wording is small and there's a good paragraph on each page. I have horrible vision and I can see it just fine. It will be perfect for my 5 and 8 year old to enjoy.

This is a very sturdy and large calendar, but the book gifts inside are small paperback books. They take at least 5-8 minutes to read aloud, and are at a reading/comprehension level well above that of my young children (2, 3, 5). My kids think they’re cute, and enjoy when we read them because they already know the stories from the movies. I’d like to find another option with shorter stories geared for a younger crowd.

My son is almost 4 and he absolutely loves it! We talked about how he can open one every day until Christmas and we will count the days. He is very excited. The books even come with a bit of wrapping on them giving him the excitement of opening it. My mom said it’s the best advent calendar she has seen. The stories are not Christmas themed, which is clear in the pictures in the product description. This is better for us so he can enjoy them year round. The books are a great size for his hands. Also, there is a good assortment of stories for every interest. We just wish there was another Frozen story instead of the Incredibles, but that is personal taste.

I usually buy 24 separate books for my kids and have them unwrap one a night the month of December but this genius idea not only saves me money but also saves me from the wrapping. The books are tiny but honestly not that big of a deal since they're full books just smaller. Plus its Disney. I really hope they make more over the next few years.

Just got this and I was very excited until I looked at the back and realized it is just 24 Disney movies in story version. Was hoping for a Christmas spin since it is a countdown to Christmas. When I preordered this there was not a picture displaying what the stories would be and the description was vague. I am disappointed and will definitely not be falling for this again. Fortunately my kids are little and, despite the fact we already have many of these books, will probably still enjoy this. The calendar itself is very nice and seems like it will hold up to the use it is going to get. 3 stars because it appears to be well made, but the content is not holiday related.

This thing is HUGE! Have only opened a few books so far but am very impressed with the stories and quality. For younger children though, please note that the books are meant to be read to children because the text is long and the font is tiny. Not friendly for young children learning to read on their own.

Product is great except that book 13 - Aladdin was missing. Paid a lot for shipping hence unwilling to return item and incur costs when it’s not my fault but seller’s for not checking item before sending it out. Contacted seller but email bounced back so unsure how I’m going to have this resolved.

If you looking for an engaging read then this is a great Advent Calander.Each storyline unique and fun.My 5yr old enjoys being read the stories but they are long, so I skip pages or give him the coles note version.Better for an older kid but good quality so I hope it will grow with him

Amazing. It's huge and the outside part that holds the books is hardcover. It's not holiday stories, but having mini disney books you can read with your kids is still great. It's going to be a great tradition!

Great quality, and the books are adorable. This is a advent calendar that I can use for a few years. The text is pretty small in the books. My kids were so excited to read when I opened it, But they know they have to wait till December :)
