Atlantic 25 Pack Movie Sleeves - Clear Sleeve hold two discs each, Protects Discs Against Scratches and Dust

This was the perfect storage solution for me. I live in a relatively small one-bedroom apartment and although I'm an avid movie fan, I just couldn't justify using up so much space to store my movies. I started looking around at different options, but I was fairly picky. I didn't want to keep my movies in a binder because I wanted to keep the cover art. I also considered the DiscSox DVD Pro Sleeves (available on Amazon and also at The Container Store), but after seeing them in person, I didn't like the way they looked and felt. They seemed more cheaply made to me, and I didn't like the black border that ran along the side saying "DiscSox"... I didn't want to have advertising on the product.These have two sleeves - an outer sleeve that holds the art work and an inner sleeve that holds two discs. One thing that stood out to me about this product was the fact that the plastic sleeves are enforced around the edges. One of the other options I considered did not have this and people said it tore easily. These are great -- seem very sturdy. The disc pockets are a bit tight, but you just have to push a little and they go in just fine. I'm ok with this, because I figure it will keep the discs in place. The only con to the packaging is that the little insert to close up the sleeve doesn't really stay in place. I don't think this is a big deal though, because I keep them all pressed together in a bin anyway and they still look like they are closed.As you can see in the picture, I had a storage tower that was filled up on both sides. I was able to take all of these movies and fit them comfortably with room to spare in the storage bin pictured. I was a little hesitant at first to throw away the boxes and crease the artwork, but once I got started, I really enjoyed being able to save so much space. The movies still look great in the sleeves; they just take up a whole lot less room now! Another bonus is I can easily take them with me places now since they're so lightweight and portable.One con is that I don't really like the way these sleeves fit with Blu-rays. On one hand, since Blu-ray covers are narrower, you can fit the entire edge of the artwork into the sleeves without folding right in the middle of the paper (which you have to do with the DVDs). However, I don't like the fact that with a Blu-ray, there's quite a bit of empty sleeve up above where the cover insert ends. I wish Atlantic would make another version of these same sleeves so that they would fit snugly around Blu-rays.I would definitely recommend these sleeves!

I've always been a purist in regards to DVDs...everything kept in the case and all the pieces and parts just like it came off the shelf in the store. That level of OCD has served me well in other areas of life...lol. That was great until I really started decorating my new home and realized that I just didn't want to look at a shelf stuffed with crazy multi-colored plastic cases or have a cabinet stuffed with them either. Actually, since I had moved in DVDs, etc. had been banished to plastic bins in the garage. That was less than ideal, but they're just so unsightly and take up so much room. As I ordered these movie sleeves, the DVD purist in me was howling "Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!". I didn't listen and I'm so HAPPY!! I stripped one plastic case of its cover and DVDs, put everything in the sleeve, and looked admiringly at its slim, tidy profile. The DVD purist was silenced for good that day and just to be sure I had enough I ordered 2 more sets!! They feel very sturdy, but aren't super heavy duty plastic like the original cases. They might not be ideal for the movies of small kids if you have those...these are easier to get into and I'm not sure they were designed to take the level of abuse that the average toddler can dish out. For me, they are perfect though. The contents of 6 DVD cases + 1 bluray case was taken down to less than the thickness of 2 DVD cases. I just folded the front cover from the DVD case evenly...I didn't cut them... and kept any of the insert stuff I wanted. Put that in the main sleeve and the discs in the removable sleeve that's inside and made to hold them. Easy, easy!! I did decide that since each sleeve will only hold 2 discs (though I did stuff in 3 a couple of times) that I would keep anything with many discs, like whole seasons of shows, in their original boxes rather than splitting them up into several sleeves. Not sure what I will end up storing them in yet, but I love the look and especially all of the space I'm saving.

They work great I could put 3 dvd's in one sleeve and the info sheet more compact then all those plastic cases Easter to store and move !!!!

Perfect. Exactly what we needed.I've been looking for some kind of "book" type storage for our DVD collection and not been totally sold on the options I've seen available in Canada. So I decided to take a chance of this set-up. 72 sleeves did not quite empty the box I had after clearing the DVD cases off an old bookcase. I found the slipcovers fit well -- they were not all cut exactly the same by the various manufacturers to begin with, but most fit folded on the existing line. Only a few had to be re-fold/re-creased a millimeter to so over in order to fit.I really like a storage system that allows for storage of the notes that came with about half the DVDs (production notes, chapter listings, etc.)

es muy efectivo para guardar películas, los protectores de discos DVD están muy prácticos y salvan un buen de espacio. Lo que sí cuesta un poquitín de trabajo es meter las portadas ya que si es algo justo al tamaño, pero al final si se puede lograr. Lo recomiendo a los que gustan de coleccionar películas

A little old fashioned but I like to collect DVDs and this set saves soooo much space on my shelves - will buy again.

I loved these movie sleeves. They are pricey but I liked them so much I ordered 4 sets. I am currently waiting for these to come back in stock. They're great for space saving.
