Best around 100 dollar headset
Great sound for the price. I have recently tried around 12 headsets to meet my needs. These were the best by a good margin. I tried headsets from stands like Senheiser (the gsp600 which is their highest end non wireless headset. It sounded great but not amazing mix) audio technica, razer, turtle beach, and Philip. These destroyed the turtle beaches (which were the stealth 700 gen 2s which are their highest end headphones)and were reasonably comparable to the razer black shark v2. They still were far better tho in sound comfort build and mic. I also had the kaira pro which supposedly had the same driver from the blackshark but to me sounded far worse. The gsp 600 sounded better for sure but had a much worse mic and are much harder to drive. The audio technica headset was utter garbage. It was the ATH PG1 and wasn’t expansive but even at the 70 dollars was terrible. The mic was awful, and the sound was horrendous. Worse than EarPods included with your iPhone. The Logitech’s were pretty comparable to Philip’s shp 9500. While not quite as good sounding, they were much higher build quality, had a mic included and are a gaming headset. The shp 9500s are directed as budget audiophile headphones but were only slightly better sounding. For gaming these are also fantastic. They have very good positional sound and can easily tell you where enemies are. The mic is very good and the comfort is definitely there. The ear pads are not quite as deep as I’d like but overall can be worn for hours once broken in a bit. Overall these are great. If you need a set of headphones for music and gaming around 100 dollars these are the best mainstream option.

It's great!
I have used mine for a month after my old G432 Headset got split in half from stepping on it. Pros: -The sound quality is solid -It looks fancy -Snug fit -Works with anything with an audio jack Cons -You will notice a ton of 1-Star reviews because of the mic. This deterred me at first because I ususlly like buying stuff that has no good reason to have any 1 star reviews. I took a plunge and here are my two cents: if you are an audiophile for mic quality and this is an ABSOLUTE must, this may not be for you. However, I found it functional. It does offer software on PC for tweeking the settings for the quality of your mic but that requires some extra effort on your part. Outside PC, you are out of luck. From personal experience, on anything other than PC, I found this headset does its job. At first the mic quality was subpar compared to my G432 but tweeking it actually made it exceed it. Overall: If mic quality doesn't bother you too much, this is a solid investment. I want to stress this: don't judge a product by its 1 star reviews. Just weigh your options. 1.5 year edit: these headphones are still going strong. If you're a fan of Logitech, I recommend them!

Great product, not too expensive
I originally wanted to purchase the Pro X version of this headset for the Blue Vo!ce mic technology. Unfortunately I didn't realize that this was just the standard Pro version. (oh well!!) Not taking one star away for MY mistake. I had initially saw the review of this headset done by RandomFrankP on YouTube, and it ticked all of the boxes that I had. Long detachable cable with inline mic mute, Detachable microphone if you just want to listen to music, and the option for 3.5mm jack or USB connection. This was purchased for a bit of light gaming, and to use for conference calls while working from home. While the software does NOT include all of the features for the Pro X model, I have been told that the Mic quality over the conference call was crystal clear. The extra added bonus is that my work phone still has a 3.5mm headphone jack, and I am able to take calls while using this headset. All in all, I will probably be purchasing the Pro X set to keep here at home, and I will more than likely be taking this set in to work for my office PC. Side note, I have never spent this much money on a headset before, nor have I had anything that had this good of a quality of noise cancellation. It was extremely odd the first time I used this headset, but nothing too extreme to get used to. Great product. Would recommend. Glad I saw RandomFrankP's video about this headset.

Best headset I've ever used
I have had this headset for 9 months and it is, hands down, the best headset I have ever used. The sound quality is fantastic. The mic is crisp and clear, especially for it not being a dedicated mic. My one issue is that the plastic housing for the metal band is such poor quality that it is crumbling just from normal wearing pressure. I have a large head so the metal forks are applying way too much force to the plastic. I wish they offered some replacement housing for them. If I had a 3d printer I would just make new ones out of a better material. If you have a large head then I would try and find a different headset better suited for your size.

A year later
I waited a while to write this review, I've had this headset for a little over a year now. I have no regrets. - Sound Quality is excellent. - Directional audio is the best I've ever heard, that fake 7.1 surround stuff is nonsense, these drivers give clear directional audio without gimmicks. - Comfortable as hell, after a year I am finally purchasing replacement earpads just because I wear these to bed and they've started to get beat up. - The frame, cables, and everything else have all held together perfectly. No wire fraying, no weird clicky noises on the joints. The only downside, which should be sort of obvious: The sound quality on this microphone is mediocre, at best. If you are going to use this as your main microphone you definitely want to upgrade to the more expensive variant with the Blue Microphone. However, on my main rig I have a studio mic, and only use this mic for phonecalls or on my ps4, so it suits it's purpose.

The sound quality for music and gaming is very nice, the software it comes with lets you adjust the settings to exactly how you like. Very comfortable for my small head, it doesn’t pinch my head at all or give me a headache like other headsets have. Covers ears entirely!!!! I’ve dropped this headset more times than I can count and it hasn’t gotten any cracks, chips, etc. Adjusts to fit both large and small heads well I cannot attest to the mic quality as I have a blue snowball I use. The mic on this headset can completely detach so it’s not in my peripheral vision needlessly.
