The Essential Beginner's Guide to Resin Art Techniques

The positives about this book is it’s simplicity and straight to the point. If you know nothing about resin, this is a good starting point.The negatives about this book is it’s price and size. The book is very small with a small amount of info and 95% of the info I already knew. The price for what you get is simply too high. The other reviews I read seem to be a lot of hype for what you get. But remember, this is my opinion of this product!

I watched several utube videos on epoxy-resin and wanted a go-to guide I could refer to. This fits the bill. A small book, but filled with good tips and instructions. I highly recommend. Just what I wanted as I experiment with this art form.

Great, simple instruction by an amazing teacher of resin art. I actually wanted to buy Sue Findlay's book to help "pay her back" for her amazing generosity in sharing her art and process so beautifully on her YouTube channel. Book well worth the purchase price, thank you Sue Findlay!

I have been following Sue on YouTube, and love her teaching style. However, if you have been following her, you know this information already. I truly an looking forward to her intermediate book that has not come out yet.A good foundation for someone totally new to resin art.

Fairly thin book but its buy sue finly n if you ever seen her art youd understand why to buy it. Check on youtube for more ideas. Love the art work n definitely an inspiration! Just wish there was more in the book.

I just started creating with epoxy resin. This book had everything I know ( or should have known before I began). Very informative.

Couldn't believe that the wafer thin packet delivered was this book. Should have read the reviews before buying! Let's be fair here, the contents are essential for someone like me who wants to embark on a foreign style of art and is too impatient to return it and seek a more value for money alternative. The book numbers its pages to 52 but if you take out the contents, author biography and lined page for notes the text amounts to less than 40. At this price too little for too much money and, whilst I appreciate that this is a specialist subject, I am sure that such an experienced artist could have imparted more of her knowledge and produced a really worthwhile manual.

For the price of this book I expected more pictures and information of how you do different tasks with resin. It is about 50 pages of a few useful tips not much text and in large writing on each page that could have easily been condensed into 25 page leaflet. It shows the authors art work. Current book I worked out costs you approximately £1 per tip!

very basic instructions, not telling you how to do something , only what you can do! Helpful but incomplete! Too expensive for the index and size of it!

The book was very useful to start my journey in to resin. I would have liked it a bit more if she had gone in to more detail about exact quantities used etc.
