I bought two of these as a just in case and let me say this I didnt need to buy two because the material on it is A plus no lie so if you need one buy it and oh as some comments mentioned it is a little short on the electrical cord but I managed to get it right the first go around I even unplugged it and put it back on with no problems.

Old one will break when changing out starter or taking off intake just wear and tear mine was idling real rough when my was broke check engine light was on also replaced with this part and a couple of days later check engine light went off car stopped idling rough immediately old part is a pain to get off just splice the wires together that’s what all the forums said to do mine works like a champ!! 2006 325i e90

I installed it yesterday it was a bit tricky getting the old one off but once off installation was a snap…literally. Seem to be working fine as of now.

2006 BMW 325! This part works but the cable is too short. It was better to just splice the old cable than fighting to make this fit. No error codes. If you plan to remove the manifold to replace your starter, then you better order this part in advance. This is really a good price. You have about 99% chance of breaking the old tube.

Dorman is made in china but isn't everything made these days is? , It was kind of sketchy seeing the reviews on this part , but it arrived and I installed with no problems , it is kind of stiff but that did not effect the fitment what so ever . to be honest this deal beats the hell out of the $140 you will pay at the dealer if you ask me .

Perfect fit. Broke the original tube (which seemed to have already broken, because the outer foam was soaked with oil) while removing the manifold on my 06 325i to replace the starter. Replaced the starter, but could not unplug the original wire plug the goes to the ventilation tube off the manifold, so I just cut the wires and spliced them. Hopefully would not cause a problem!

Part is not same size as original. Looks like it's longer than it should be and also wires are shorter than the original. Part installed and I hope so it's working and the wires are not gonna rip.If you need this part, I would recommend to buy, but it's difficult to install because in the car it's not a lot of space for maneuvering. I was struggling also,but did it.
