Elgydium Classic Toothbrush Soft by Elgydium

Awesome toothbrush! I was ordering the toothpaste for my college kids (making dental care kits) and saw the toothbrushes so I figured "what the heck, might as well" get a matching toothbrush to go with the toothpaste (of course I ordered extras for me) ... WOW, I was very pleasantly surprised at how nice this toothbrush is. It looks plain and simple enough (not fancy like they are all getting now) - but it is super lovely. I guess I will be using this toothbrush from now on.

I’ve been purchasing the Elgydium classic toothbrush for over 20 years. This one is so inferior! First of all, it does not come with the cap/cover that the classic always includes. The bristles are very stiff and will damage your gums. The quality of this brush is a zero. I will stock up next time I’m in Paris where the original, high quality classic brushes are 2 euros!

I have used these toothbrushes for a long while, now. I like the quality, and the fact that they come with a cover.

Poor toothbrush design. It’s basically a slab of plastic with bristles. There is no neck and this strongly resembles the denture brushes we have at the hospital I work at. I thought this was similar to the Elgydium Performance toothbrush which is my holy grail toothbrush! This has now been put to rest underneath my bathroom sink for when I need to clean my toilet bowl. (The seller shipped very quickly and the item was securely packaged! Can’t blame the seller for the poor toothbrush design.)

I think these are the best tooth brushes that I ever used.

I need a soft toothbrush for daily use and this is the best - very hard to find in the US. Thank you for shipping from UK.

Toothbrush shown is RED, but I only got 2 red and 2 light blue and 2 light lavender. We call this "misrepresentation". STRONGLY not recommended as handle is too crude, hard to grip, lacks neck design, and WAY OVERPRICED !! Also, the handle has no neck. Poor design.

Not horrible. Euthymol Classic Toothbrush beats it by a mile.

Elgydium toothbrushes are a revelation. Apart from the slightly shorter handle which takes a little while to get used to, these toothbrushes have a good-sized head and the soft brush is still stiff enough to clean your teeth whilst being pretty gentle on the gums. Some reviewers have complained about the brush head being too big. No, it's just right. A lot of competitor brushes have tiddly brush heads which are far too small. The soft version is a little stiffer than competitors' offerings, that's true. I use the Elgydium at night for decent cleaning and a wishy-washy softy competitor in the morning to freshen up. Please, Elgydium, leave the design as it is. It's just right.

I like the elgydium toothpaste and the toothbrush design of this model. But this last one though promising to be soft and gentle therefore for gums turned out to be more like a medium hardness brush if not hard. Dissapointed.

This is a very good toothbrush and my favourite style of toothbrush, but I think it is rather expensive.
